Gwen Stefani, who never seems to age like the rest of us, is selling her hilltop home in Beverly Hills called “The Summit.” I love when a house looks like it belongs to the celebrity who lives in it, and this one delivers, with quirky-cool interiors designed for her by Kelly Wearstler. Take a look!
Gwen Stefani’s Beverly Hills Home
Some of the rooms look like they’d work as a backdrop for one of her music videos.
The listing says:
Remarkable architectural behind guard gated entry, plus a second gate to a 250 foot private driveway. This home has it all including large pool and spa, tennis court, guest house with huge gym, theater, master with his & hers all facing view. Privacy, 7 total bedrooms, extraordinary in all detail.
Stefani bought the house with (now ex-husband) Gavin Rossdale 11 years ago for $13 m.
She’s now dating Blake Shelton, who she met as a judge on “The Voice:”
They seem like such an odd couple that I didn’t believe the rumors about them at first. Now they’re supposedly (secretly) engaged. Hard to imagine Blake feeling at home in a house like this, so maybe they’re starting over together somewhere that better suits them both.
It’s easy to picture the singer/fashion designer in rooms like this black and white-striped kitchen:
Have you seen their new promo video for “The Voice”? Gwen, bless her, is still rocking the crop tops at 47:
There are 7 bedrooms + 11 baths in the main house on the property.
It’s fun to see the house wasn’t stripped of her stuff and staged before they took these photos, as they often are.
The master suite has two bathrooms + two separate dressing areas.
Jennifer Lopez lived here in the early 2000s. Would love to see what it looked like then!
I featured designer Kelly Wearstler’s beach house in ’09 and you can see some similarities in it.
For instance, this is Kelly’s bath as it appeared in Metropolitan Home:
You can see more of her beach house here.
The Summit’s main house has 12,000 square feet.
Maybe we’d look as good as she did if we had a home gym like hers? Or maybe not… 😉
There’s a large “outdoor living room” by the pool:
She’s asking $35 million. Check the listing and Trulia for more information.
Listing agents are Stephen Shapiro of Westside Estate Agency Inc. and Jade Mills of Coldwell Banker.
I’ve been a fan of hers since her early “No Doubt” days. I still love those original albums.
On another note, I just have to say how much I appreciated all the kind comments, suggestions, and inspiring stories that you left on the post about my sunroom. I loved reading all of them and learned a few things, too. Thanks, guys! 🙂
