Bruce Willis and his wife Emma are selling their “Craftsman-inspired,” shingle-style house in the country. It sits on 22 private acres in Bedford Corners, New York, and when Elle Decor interviewed them there in 2017, the magazine described the scene as “the picture of quiet, domestic bliss.”
It’s on the market for $12.95 million, so let’s take a look!
Bruce & Emma Willis’s Country House
Bruce Willis and Emma Heming married in 2009. They have two daughters, Mabel and Evelyn:
They’re very down-to-earth and casual, as you can see by the way they eat pizza on the hood of their car. 😉
The Entry Hall:
They bought the property in 2014.
The Douglas Elliman listing says:
This luxurious Bedford Corners estate has breathtaking panoramic views of the Croton Reservoir and beyond. It includes 2 tax lots for a total of 22.6 acres, 4 houses with a total of 12 bedrooms.
“The gated main property is beautifully landscaped and includes the sophisticated, 5+bedroom, 8958 SF Main House including the finished 2130 SF lower level, patio, vegetable garden, saltwater pool, pool house, tennis court (needs resurfacing), 2-car garage with storage above, additional detached 2-car garage with storage above.
“The second lot includes a 3-bedroom, 3166 SF updated antique farmhouse, a 3-bedroom, 1007 SF house and a 1-bedroom, 660 SF house with 3-car garage below.”
Emma Heming Willis is a former fashion model who created CocoBaba, a skincare line for moms.
I follow her on Instagram and she posted this photo taken on the upstairs landing of the house:
It looks like most of the house was staged before they put it on the market.
The house has 5 bedrooms and nearly 9,000 square feet.
Bedford Corners is in Mt. Kisco, New York, about 40 miles from Manhattan.
The kitchen has a fireplace and plenty of windows to take advantage of the views:
But the best views are from this turreted third-story tower overlooking the Croton Reservoir:
M. Night Shyamalan has been a friend of Willis’s since The Sixth Sense, and he wrote the article for Elle Decor.
Bruce is now starring in Shyamalan’s new thriller Glass.
The 50-foot-long saltwater swimming pool and cabana lounge was shown in Elle Decor:
The doors have been painted red since then (via the listing):
There are three other houses on the property “suitable as guest space, staff quarters and/or a home office situation.”
If you’re a celebrity craving a little privacy, this could be the perfect spot for you! 🙂
According to Variety, Bruce and Emma Willis plan to move to the West Coast to be closer to their families.
