Nineteen kids and counting? Seriously? Looking forward to read that one! And indeed, have a gorgeous weekend, Julia! :D

I wish I could see it but I can’t get past that obnoxious ad.

hookedonhouses June 17, 2011 at 8:22 am

You mean the pop-up ad on Elle Decor? You just have to click “Continue to Site” and it goes away.

Ann June 17, 2011 at 10:32 am

My mistake. I thought the “continue to site” would take me to the ad’s site.

I want to search the luxury home plans, but I’m afraid I’ll just be jealous. ;) Is it me or does Courteney Cox never seem to age? She is so pretty!

Lizzy June 17, 2011 at 9:26 am

I gotta be honest, I wasn’t a fan of Courtney’s house. I wanted more color.

Caron White June 17, 2011 at 9:57 am

Julia so many great links today. I agree regarding Courtney’s (after looking at it several times, so serene) house. I just need more pops of color!

I want the red lantern as well!

Courtney’s house is nice but it doesn’t really seem comfortable, you know? I can’t imagine kids there.

I do like the idea of a great big book on the wall. That’s something I’d love to try.

Also, what is a tennis house?

cheryl June 17, 2011 at 12:23 pm

Hi Julia…Courtney’s home is just not for me. I think it lacks warmth and I just can’t imagine being comfortable there. It is pretty to look at…but it ends there. A quick walk through and I would be ready to go. But that is what makes us all different!

Kim June 17, 2011 at 2:06 pm

Great links! I love Jay Buhner’s ranch. It’s gorgeous and I would love to live on beautiful property in Washington State.

The “19 Kids and Counting” house was probably a popular search because Anna Duggar just had her baby boy Michael this week. She’s married to the Duggar’s oldest kid Josh.

Lesley @ TheDesignFile June 17, 2011 at 4:28 pm

Julia – Thanks for including me in your list of links this week. I appreciate it.

I haven’t linked over to Courtney’s house yet but she is looking fabulous!

cheers, Lesley

Courtney’s house is one of those beautiful houses that looks like no one lives in it.

Megan June 17, 2011 at 7:16 pm

I took a peek at your post on the Duggars’ home. I can’t get over it – my house could easily fit in the living room/kitchen area! I actually don’t like the dining room or kitchen – it reminds me too much of the cafeteria in my college.

Nita June 17, 2011 at 7:41 pm

Ick on Courtney’s house! She has a little girl, and this house is beyond bizarre being so cold, cold, cold. I heard she’s a perfectionist, so the kid probably can’t touch anything. It is the coldest house I’ve seen and once again, all about design and the designer and not about creating a welcoming home.

Nita June 17, 2011 at 7:43 pm

I like this lantern for only $5.99 on the far left.

Dana June 18, 2011 at 12:53 am

This is a great website, and much more fun than!

Susan (Between Naps on the Porch) June 18, 2011 at 11:25 am

Hi Julia,
I just purchased a red lantern very similar to the one you showed above. I found my at Old Time Pottery. It was very inexpensive , only $14. Not sure if you have one in your area but hope so! Off to check out these fun links. :)
Have a great weekend!

Nathan June 18, 2011 at 12:14 pm

I can’t see Courtney’s house. Elledecor’s page will only show me their banner (I think?) but nothing else. No matter what I click. Oh well :(

hookedonhouses June 18, 2011 at 4:09 pm

They seem to have a glitch on that page that is making it hard for some readers to see it. Try going straight to the photos: Hope that helps!
