Nicole Kidman invited Vogue magazine into the Georgian mansion that sits on her Bunya Hill farm in Australia for one of their “73 Questions” videos, and I was excited to get a look inside. I’ve featured the house she bought with husband Keith Urban in Beverly Hills but had never seen this one.
Keith & Nicole’s Farmhouse:
The interviewer peppers Nicole with questions from the minute he walks up to her front porch:
I wanted him to ask more about her house, but at least we got to see some of it!
The Georgian-style manor was built in 1878.
The first room off the entry hall has a pool table, which is unexpected:
Across the hall from it is a cozy library lined with bookshelves:
Note the American-flag pillow on the leather sofa. They spend most of their time in Nashville, which she says she loves for its community spirit.
Next up is a more formal living room with a piano and fireplace. I can totally see Nicole lounging around in floaty white dresses like this all day long, can’t you? Do you think she even owns any sweatpants? 😉
I love how informal most of the house seems. There’s even a little plastic kitchen playset in the dining room for her daughters Sunday Rose (called “Sunny”) and Faith:
When the interviewer asks her how she’s doing, she says she’s feeling “raw” because she’s been through a lot lately. Her father Anthony died less than a year ago. She also says that if a song title could describe her life, it would be “I Will Survive.”
A covered patio off the dining room has more evidence that kids are welcome here:
There’s a small cottage behind the main house where Nicole goes to fetch an egg basket before heading to the barn:
I really wanted to see more of this cottage!
She’s featured on the August 2015 cover of Vogue, and you can read her interview there:
You can watch the 73 Questions with Nicole video below or at Vogue to get more glimpses around her farm (they make you watch a short ad first):
They paid $6.5 million for the country retreat outside Sydney.
Listing Photos from 2008 Before Nicole & Keith Bought It:
According to Nubricks, it has 6 bedrooms and is located at Sutton Forest in the NSW Southern Highlands.

It couldn’t be much different from their California house:
I think I’d rather hang out on their farm. 🙂
In the 73 Questions interview, Nicole says her favorite TV show of all time is “Bewitched,” which explains why she agreed to do the remake. The movie wasn’t great, but I loved her character’s cottage in it!
