Well, guys, I’m in a hotel room in Indianapolis and didn’t have a chance to recap “Top Design” for you this week. I know, I know–I’m sorry!
I only caught about 15 minutes of last night’s episode and only know who was booted off because I read about it on Blogging Top Design. (I can’t say I’m surprised, even though I didn’t see how the rooms turned out.)
If you watched it, let us know what you thought about the episode in the comments. Give me a recap of your favorite lines, favorite rooms, feelings about the judges’ decisions, or whatever. I’d love to hear your take!
P.S. To hear about my trip, follow me on Twitter!

Epsiode was pretty good! Client’s were single guys. One style gaol was termed”Panty Dropping Sheik”….ok. Shanzia was useless and annoying. Eddie acted like a total jerk! Rooms were nothing exciting except for the very interesting screens and wallpaper. The highlight was Jeff Lewis as guest judge.Enjoy your trip.
You know what I’m thinking? As much as I love decorating and design, I think the reason these design shows struggle for viewership more than Project Runway and others is because it’s just so hard to get a good shot of rooms. Last night’s episode had the designers decorating apartments for bachelors. In addition to the living/dining areas, the bedrooms were also designed. Unfortunately, the show ended, and I didn’t feel like I saw what the rooms really looked like.
Eddie’s floral arrangement was yummy (and should’ve won IMHO) but then he went all weird and acted really horrible at the showroom. He even said something like “I’m the blah blah blah at Martha Steward Living and I’m only doing this for fun”…he came off badly. I was relieved to see Shazia go, and my favorite part was Jeff. I might finally have to figure out what this Twitter thing is
.
I think Eddie is showing his true colors. His arrogance may be his downfall.
He is talented, the flowers were gorgeous…but the judges were like ‘meh..he works for Martha ..he can do that in his sleep.’
Poor Shazia..I felt bad for her…but it was her time to go.
I did not understand those screens with all the sea life…for a bachelor? Completely off base.
Jeff should be a regular judge. He is fantastic.
I agree with Sandra. It is hard to get to really see the designs in such a short time.
Hey, girl. I know you’ve had a busy week, but I’ve tagged you anyway. Hope you’ll play along. LOL
HA! Came back to check for updates and noticed I wrote Steward! LOL oopsie. I also agree about wanting to see more of the actual designs, and of course about Jeff being a regular judge.
