1. Taylor Swift Lived Here

Taylor Swift didn’t make the move to Nashville until she was 14. Until then, she lived in Reading, Pennsylvania, in this “Grand 3-Story Classical Revival Home” for 10 years. Her childhood home recently went on the market again and just sold for $700,000. (In other Swift real estate news, she recently flipped a beach house in Hyannis Port.)

Katy Perry's house for sale in LA

2. Katy Perry’s House in L.A.

Katy Perry has been trying to sell the house she bought with Russell Brand in 2011 since the beginning of the year. She paid $6.5 million but recently lowered the asking price to $6.495. Check the listing for all the photos.

3. Jeremy Renner Flips His House in Bel Air

Remember that stunning Art Deco-style house Jeremy Renner remodeled with help from interior designer Kristoffer Winters? Their hard work paid off. Renner purchased it for $7 million and just sold it for $24. The listing described it as a home as “fit for a 21st century Howard Hughes.”

Leonardo DiCaprio's house for sale in Malibu

4. Leonardo DiCaprio’s House in Malibu

Speaking of Howard Hughes (or the actor who played him onscreen, anyway), DiCaprio has been renting this house on the beach for $75,000/month. You can buy it, though, if you can come up with about $18.9 million. That might sound like a lot, but he just lowered the price by over $4 million in June. So really, if you think about it, it’s a bargain!

5. Olivia Newton-John’s Florida Beach House

I couldn’t figure out why so many people were suddenly searching for Olivia Newton-John’s house on my blog recently until I ran across an article reporting that a 42-year old landscaper killed himself on the property. So sad. You can see the house pics here. It’s still on the market for $5.9 m.

Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady's kitchen

6. Gisele Bundchen & Tom Brady’s House in L.A.

Did you see Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen’s house featured in Architectural Digest? It’s huge and has a koi-stocked moat so I was surprised by how charming and warm some of the rooms were. I especially like the kitchen.

Hmmm. Interesting assortment. I like Katy Perry’s house – beautiful architecture, but too grand for me. Jeremy Renner’s bar is very cool, Olivia Newton-John has a nice dock, and the kitchen in Tom & Gisele’s house is nice. Bits and pieces are fabulous, but I’d take my house over any of them!

Taylor’s childhood home is beautiful. I would have pictured her growing up in a more casual, country style home, but it’s lovely nonetheless. :)

Of all those home, I would take Taylor’s childhood home in a second! So pretty! Just needs different furniture and new counters….the granite doesn’t do it for me. I lve the traditional style!

The other homes are just to stark, too BIG and sprawling. And, although Giselle’s home is homey, I could never live in a home Tom Brady had lived in. Go Giants! Lol!!!

Although it’s uber-masculine, and not my general style, I still love Jeremy Renner’s home. It’s so glamorous and every detail is perfection. I think you would have to live a very glam life in that home…no pizza bagel bites in that kitchen, only martinis and caviar! I love Taylor’s Swifts childhood home too. It’s classically beautiful and I bet I could warm up Coscto corndogs in that kitchen without feeling too guilty! ;)

Katy Perry’s house was actually featured as the house of one of the victim’s in NCIS: Los Angeles. No one was “Killed” there but it just showed them going there and Investigating I thought it was beautiful then and I Love it even more now
