Pretty sure we will be seeing Marie’s house all over blogland and in magazines. She has done an awesome job!

Not sure how I feel about the turquoise exterior of the house, but I LOVE the interior. As a huge fan of all things black and white and toile, she’s won my heart! The kitchen is wonderful…shows what a creative and artistic mind can create.

Love all that turquoise! Thanks for the post. I hopped over to her blog and can hardly wait to read through her entire blog! LOVED all those stained glass windows on the wall…and LOVED that shower curtain!

Hi Julia – Wow! Thanks so much for featuring mon petite maison on your blog…what an honor! I was wondering why all of a sudden I got so many comments (which is unusual). I really appreciate your link. The other homes are so spectacular!

Hi Julia,

I’m not sure if you know this, but the blog listed below is stealing a lot of your content. Entire posts…verbatim.

hookedonhouses June 16, 2010 at 1:07 pm

Thanks, Nikki! I removed the link to their site because I don’t want to send them any traffic. You’re right–looks like they’re regularly stealing my stuff (and then sticking their copyright notice on it, ironically enough). Thanks for letting me know! -Julia

I’m surprised that the mansion only has 3 1/2 baths and 5 bedrooms, when it’s 9,000 square feet. You think it would have more. Other then that, I love all three homes in their own ways.

Struggler June 16, 2010 at 1:08 pm

The cottage is my favorite, for sure ;)

My goodness! I am gaga over the second French home. I don’t typically like the French style but this one is divine. The kitchen is amazing! I also just did a “house tours” post a couple days ago except it’s on fabulous mansions. I think we have fairly similar tastes in decorating. Stop by for a look and a chat if you get the chance! ;)

Another site has posted your content as their own…word for word. I was reading the post for yesterday at http://www.fromtherightbank.com (another beautiful site) and noticed that she (Ally) had been having the same problem with thai-decor stealing her content. It appears they have stopped copying her content, and moved on to yours. Just a note…

Thanks, Regina! -Julia

Julia… Thank you so much for linking to my blog! I’ve really let my blog take a back seat the last few months because of a hectic personal life, but just recently decided to be more regular with it again. Your link is just the shot in the arm I needed! Thank you!!!! Hope your summer is going well!

Becky

P.S… I was reading the comments and it trips me out that other bloggers are stealing content verbatim from other bloggers. Unbelieveable!

Hi Julia hope you are doing well – what would I do without your blog. you never fail to cheer me up and I’m sure all of the above agree with me so thanks for sharing – love all the houses but the cottage I love more…. the colour the garden everything is beautiful… Regards Esther from cold Sydney (at night I just want to sit on top of the heater) I’ve been told our winter is like Californian winter but without the humidity.
