I think the house on “Hot In Cleveland” on TVLand is very cute. Love the sight
Hi! I just watched a Disney movie called “Summer Magic” and it has the most amazing house in it! I just found your site because I was trying to find some info on that house! I want the floor plan for that house! That would be a great house for you to feature:)
The house in Jumanji is very nice, I was surprised it wasn’t on this webiste.
I really enjoy your website. I love to imagine what the floor plans are to houses on TV and movies and your site has given me new inspiration. You have some of my favorites. A couple of houses I would like to see on your site is the Pine Street house from Leave It To Beaver and Doris Day & Rock Hudson’s house on their movie Send Me No Flowers. Thanks for your research and making it available to us.
Jary Cockroft
Hi,
Love the site!!! Thanks for your work! I would suggest that one house is crucial to get on this list and is missing
the Halliwell Manor from Charmed! Most of my time as a fan of the show I just wished to live there…
Cheers
Canan
I get a lot of requests for that, but I never watched “Charmed.” TV shows take me forever to cover because I have to watch so many episodes from so many seasons to get all the photos, but I might get to it someday!
I have pictures from all angles of the Halliwell Manor (major fan
) as well as the blueprints
There is a Michelle Pfeifer movie called “I Could Never Be Your Woman”….you have GOT to check it out, her house is similar to the Santa Barbara style house in Seattle you have posted. Gorgeous house….you’ll love it!! Everytime I watch that movie I have to pause it and take house pictures lol!
Thank you for this post ! I want to give you a link : http://santaclaushome.free.fr. There is a big list of all Christmas movies you can see ! Happy Christmas !
)
Thanks, Elfie!
I would love to see the details for the house in the TV show “Up all Night”. I love the entire style of their house and decor! I especially love their sofa. I think it’s either a crate and barrel sofa or room and board but I’m not certain!
That’s a good one! I’m always staring at the furniture in the scenes. And I want the window treatments in Ava’s office!
Where can I find window treatments like the ones in Ava’s office?
I love the decor on “Up all night”, specially Ava’s office. I love the cream and gray chairs! I want them for my living room, where can i get those at an affordable price?
I found them at Crate and barrel, but they are over $800 each! And on sale…
Anybody knows where i can find chairs like those but way cheaper than that? Thank you!!!
I am interested in finding the Hollywood style light blue (aqua?) sofa in Reagan’s office. I love it! Any suggestions on where to find it (or something similar and affordable)?
I would love to find the art print from Reagans home – its pink and other colors and has a cathedral/circle print. I think its in the hallway towards the bedroom…Help! I would love to find it.
Would love to find the dining room table chairs from Regan’s house. Anyone know where I could find great dining room arm chairs like that?
I’ve been searching for the same dining room table and chairs and would love to know where to buy them. I hope someone here knows where to find these!
I would love to see the the details of the old farmhouse from the movie Bridges of Madison County. I’m a sucker for country homes.
Rebecca
I grew up about two miles from that home. My Aunt used to babysit for the family that used to live there. It sat vacant for years and now has had a fire in it. It is just of the road from I-35 and had quite a few visitors for a while because of the movie and the covered bridges are also still so popular. Some of the bridges have also been burned and rebuilt because of relationships gone bad. The person or persons who have been involved have stated that they don’t want reminders of the love that once was. The house is still fun to drive by because of all the history behind it now. They really captured exactly how it looked on screen at the time, hilly dirt road and all.
I love the house from the Spiderwick Chronicles
I as well!
Would you consider covering the various homes for The Vampire Daries and The Secret Circle?
I am totally in love with the Blake house in The Secret Circle! (Searching for it online actually brought me to this lovely blog for the first time)
Oh yes please! There are these beautiful white curtains in Cassie’s bedroom that have little gold moons and stars on them .. I NEED them!
Sorry.. I mean “Diaries”
I’d also love to see the house form the Vampire Diaries. In particular, the house of the main female character, Elena, and her family. What’s caught my eye is the large rectangular kitchen that opens to the dining room and then beyond that to a sitting area, followed by a living room. The trim changes through the rooms, but they flow together nicely and the layout of the kitchen/dining in particular seems so perfect for families.
Have you seen Nichole Kidman’s house in the movie Rabbit Hole? It’s absolutely gorgeous, and the movie ain’t bad either.
Not yet, but it’s in my Netflix queue!
I can’t believe you haven’t done anything on the Harry Potter movies! Although the house Harry’s aunt and uncle live in is quaint, I’m MUCH more interested to see some views of the Weasley home. Some of the decor is so unique! Just a thought if you’re looking to fill space one day. Thanks for such a great blog!!!
Sorry! I left this comment on the home page before I found this was the right location to post it! Here it is again if you want to delete the other;)
Love your blog and I knew that it would be a great place to try and locate pictures of Kyle Richards (of The Housewives of Beverly Hills), new home. I only found her old home, link to pictures and the video (which was interesting to see) but I was dying to see the new home! I could tell it seemed like my dream home from the snippets of the kitchen and layout that I had seen on the show. So I wanted to provide you the link to Hulu where she takes you on a tour of the new home:
http://www.hulu.com/watch/297969/the-real-housewives-of-beverly-hills-kyle-richards-new-house#s-p8-sr-i1
YES!! It is GORGEOUS and such a departure from the old one. I would absolutely love to see you do a piece on this with photos and layout (if at all possible!)
Also, you can see a tour of all of their homes, including Camille. Personally, the homes of the rest of these gals are just not my thing. I thought I would love Camille’s (the outside is gorgeous) but inside, not so much. Lisa’s home is beautiful on the outside and has some pretty decorating here and there. Adrienne’s home is awful–such poor taste (my opinion, of course.) And the rest weren’t worth watching-yikes! (I know that’s awful to say and only my opinion;) Thanks for considering!
Hi, Julia. You had a beach house featured from Coastal Living mag, Oct. 2010. It showed white dining room wooden chairs. Do you know where the chairs came from or the brand. Thanks. (we have a great shih tzu too.) Best,
Dee
If the info isn’t in a post, I don’t have it. Sorry!
The Jumaji house. Is it real or a movie set?
My favorite ‘movie house’ at least lately, is the beautiful home they used for the Good Witch’s Garden, on Hallmark. It has a solarium on one side and a glassed in porch on the other. What a luxury! And the rest of the house is nice, too
Can you get the house from Casper and When Casper meets Wendy(Wendy’s house)
There is an older movie, from the 90′s I think, that was on television yesterday called “Cances Are” with Robert Downey Jr. It had the most wonderful home in Georgetown ! Do you have any information on it? Thanks!
Why not and where is Jake’s house in SWEET HOME ALABAMA?!?!?!?!?! Are you serious? That is one amazing house (and the glass store/shop)……………………….
I’m not done yet. Give me a chance to get around to all the great movie houses out there! I’ve had thousands of requests and there’s only one of me to work on them all…
Hey,
I saw the movie ‘deck the halls’ over the weekend. The movie overall was just average/poor, but i loved the traditional home Kristin Davis and Matthew Broderick live in. Christmas decorations included. Would love to see it featured on your blog some day.
You are doing a great job by the way. I am a regular reader and definitely hooked. Thanks
I don’t think I ever saw that one, so I’ll have to check it out. Thanks, Jessica!
Hi Julia,
I stumbled on your website from Yahoo while reading an article about movie houses.
I absolutely love your comments and scenes from ‘Meet Me In St. Louis”. Some awesome decorating ideas there! I admit that house has got to be my most favorite! What’s not to love?
Anyway, I have a movie house for you that I didn’t see mentioned here. The movie is an old b&w, but it’s still wonderful to look at. The movie is “The Magnificent Ambersons”. Most of the movie is filmed in the house. It’s an awesome old victorian mansion.
I’d love to see if you agree. Thanks for this great site! It was an unexpected treat for me this morning.
First off, I’m a bit of an interior nut myself with an obsession with TV/Movie houses.
I’ve been trying to find pictures (other than just exterior) of a couple of houses from The OC. Caleb and Julie’s mansion and Dr Roberts’ and Summer’s house.
If you could find anything that’d be awesome
I was just about to post about the same thing. Just finished rewatching the first series of the OC and forgot how great the houses were, or McMansions. Apparently after the pilot they built the pool and pool house as a set complete with fake sea view.
how about the secret circle? the blond girls house is amazing
I would love to see inside the house where “Giada at Home” is filmed. It’s in Malibu, CA with amazing views.
It would be so great if you could get pictures of the summerhouse in the movie “head above water” with cameron diaz. thanks
PS. I could answer all 13 questions of “are you hooked” with yes
I don’t think I ever saw that one. I’ll have to look for it–thanks!
Have you ever seen the Hitchcock movie, Saboteur ?
There is a gorgeous stone cottage in the woods of northern California that the main character takes refuge in while he is on the run from the police.
It’s an obvious movie set, but the layout and decor of the cottage is inspiring.
I’d love to see the house from the 1960 Cary Grant movie, “The Grass is Greener” I love that old English decor and the architectural details!
I LOVE the family home in The Kids Are Alright… do you have anything on that? (The Bathroom is especially wonderful!)
I’d love to know the paint colors used in the father/daughter house on the new show Suburgatory. Thanks!
Me too
I came to this site looking for the kitchen color
I want to know the color green on the walls in their entry way. Please! Thanks,
Me too! I want to know the green in their entry way and the blue in the kitchen.
Scratch that. the blue in the dining room and green in entry way.
I stumbled across a notice that Catherine of Aragon (King Henry VIII’s first wife) is up for sale. Thought your readers might like to see it – the pictures of it are stunning. I suspect it was used in the HBO series The Tudors, but can’t confirm that.
http://www.shropshirestar.com/lifestyle/property/2010/08/13/homes-of-the-week-castle-lodge-ludlow/
Wow, these are incredible photos! Sadly, I’m a bit short of cash, but maybe someone on this site can manage a few million??!! Thanks for posting the link.
DO YOU HAVE ANYTHING ABOUT THE FILM KNOCKED UP????
GREETINGS FROM BRASIL
Sorry, if it’s not on this list, I don’t have it.
Not celebrity – but fabulous nonetheless
http://realestate.yahoo.com/Louisiana/New_Orleans/1415-3rd-st:e058056628953cd3f8345a4aa0f8e
I’m sure there are celebrity neighbors.
Wow! That’s quite a place.
Zillow just sent me a link to the Mushroom Home in Perinton, NY. While it’s not a TV or movie home, it’s pretty unique & unusual!
I just l0ve this site! It’s nice to know that there are many other people that tour open houses just for the fun of it!
Hi,
First off I love your site. Im not only hooked on houses but your as well blog!Anyways I just this great movie called “Rise of the Planet of the Apes” with James Franco. The house is amazing in this movie. With a grand staircase and brilliant woodwork, a dream kitchen with a spiral staircase leading to a library loft..and so many more great things like the picturesque tree lined street (I wish I could live there) But sadly I can’t find anything on the neighborhood or the house, so I was hoping maybe you could put your skills to work and find more info on this wonderful house (you would love it!) Hope you can help!
Caitlyn
Haven’t seen that one! My husband and son did, though, but they didn’t tell me there was a great house in it.
I found a website for all of The Notebook movie lovers. It has great pics of the outside of the home, butof course, no interior photos. I was still very excited to see more of the house. Hope everyone likes it….
http://sc.reel-scout.com/loc_detail.aspx?id=10010590&g=0&cid=27
Wow, that’s great! Loved seeing those photos. Thanks, Rebecca!
Bob Hope’s house in Bachelor In Paradise is a wonderful example of 1960′s style. Also, Hector Elizondo’s house in Tortilla Soup. The kitchen is awesome and has built-in shelves full of dinnerware to die for.
Oh darn, I was hoping the Penelope house(2006, Christina Ricci) would’ve been on here. Must keep searching the internet then
I love your website!
Hi Julia
I’m an avid reader from Australia and recently watched the horror movie, Insidious. I immediately jumped onto your website to see if the houses were on here. Any chance you might be able to include them at all?
Love your site btw.
Cheers, Leighta
Hi, happy new year everyone!
I’d love to see the house from both movies “Fear” with Reese Witherspoon and “Trapped” with Charlize Theron. Thanx!
Would love to see some photo’s from the movie ‘The Help’
I second that! The house Skeeter lived in was absolutely gorgeous! I’ve been trying to track it down, but so far I have nothing. Hope to see some photos of it up soon.
Hi
Firstly, great website. Truly lives up to the name.
How about Leona Lewis’ Los Angeles home that is up for sale (not sure if it sold yet)?
The interior is pretty plain, but the home is stunning.

http://www.homebunch.com/leona-lewis-new-house-for-sale/
I hadn’t seen her house–thanks, Millie!
Another Reese Witherspoon movie… just saw “Just Like Heaven”, which features a huge but charming San Francisco apartment. Most of the movie takes place there. Tons of old woodwork, large bay windows. I don’t remember the movie being in theaters, but I’m glad I caught it on TV.
Could you PLEASSSSSSSEEEEEEEE get pics and info on the house from “Are We Done Yet?”. Oh my God….I watched it over and over and over this weekend. That is my dream house!!!! And I would love to have floors plans if at all possible. Thankyou!
Do you have any info on the old mill set and other locations in the movie ” All That Heaven Allows ” ?
How about I Dream of Jeannie’s house?
Anyone else notice that the kitchen on Nights in Rodanthe IS the I Dream of Jeannie Kitchen??? And was the exterior the same one used for the Julia Roberts /Campbell Scott movie Dying Young?
When I watched Benny and Joon I felt that their house was practically a character in the movie and really helped tell the story of who these people were.
Would love to see that house on here, also The Royal Tennenbaums and You Can’t Take it With You.
Love your website and love getting to see the homes that capture my attention more than the actual movies sometimes – thank you!
Just wanted to let you know that I spotted an error in the info for the “Family Stone” – the exterior home is actually in Riverside, CT (postal district in Greenwich) on Riverside Ave at Club Rd on the southwest corner of the intersection – and the snow was real . They didn’t need the snow machines the crew had brought in! Just thought you should know. All the best.
Thanks, Kathy!
Julia,
I see you have a movie, called The Uninvited…but have you seen the 1944 version? It sounds like a different story, starring Ray Milland and Ruth Hussey as a brother and sister, who buy a beautiful house…that turns out to be haunted. A very young Gail Russell stars as the young lady, who lived in the house as a little girl, before the tragedy that creates the whole situation. Very good, rather scary, with lots of twists…and a beautiful house, overlooking the sea. Hope you like it
Great site!!! I love looking at all the houses. I often thought “i want to know more”. I’m surprised I did not see the houseboat from Cary Grant “Houseboat” . Great movie that centered around a houseboat.
Thanks for all the great pics!!
Some TV/Movie Houses you should do:
* Pretty Little Liars
* Desperate Housewives
* Marmaduke
It would be great if you could do a post about these houses especially Pretty Little Liars
Thankyou
I started watching “Pretty Little Liars” after I heard that they film some of it on the same backlot where Stars Hollow used to be (the town where “Gilmore Girls” was set–one of my faves). There are some great houses in that one. I love Aria’s Craftsman!
I just discovered this site and it’s fantastic! I also love to look at houses, and drool over many movie houses. One of my favorites is from a little-known movie, The Love Letter, with Kate Capshaw. I’d love to see pictures and find out more about it (like what town it was in). Thanks!!
I recently watched a kid’s movie called Frank (it’s a bout a dog). The log cabin and setting is remarkable- LOVED it. I am curious where this was filmed at and is that house for sale
The Brown cottage in NATIONAL VELVET!
Julia, I found your site looking for Dave & the Chipmunks house, I knew I’d seen it in Swingshift. I was born and raised in L.A. and always enchanted by those cottages. Now living in Ohio, I was surprised to find you were here, and delighted to find wonderful photos of the home, thanks! I’m still looking for interiors of the house from “The Most Wonderful Time of the Year”, the Hallmark Movie. I’m loving the dark green walls and floorplan of the house. I DVR’d the movie, but boyfriend deleted it! I’d also love to see the wedding scenes from “The Good Witch’s Gift” not to mention the wedding vows and Greyhouse. By the way, I scored 9 out of 10, on the quiz, the only wrong one was the cost of homes, I’m still reeling from the differences in home prices between, N.E. Ohio and Southern California. From a happy new fan, Lisa
is there any way to find info/pics of the mansions from the film The Help and Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood?
would love to see and learn more about the houses in the movie, The Descendants.
I’d absolutely love to see something on Mila Kunis’s homely little apartment and Justin Timberlake’s slick bachelor pad (and possibly his family beach house, too) from Friends With Benefits!
Me too! I would really love to know where the family’s LA beach house is in Friends With Benefits
I recently discovered your site and was excited to find out that there are other people as hooked on homes as I am. My favorite movie is Christmas in Connecticut with Barbara Stanwick, and I was happy to see it on your list. But another home that always catches my eye is in the Doris Day film “Send Me No Flowers”. I especially love the back porch area of this home! Hope it inspires you too!
Hello,
This is a very interesting site! I look forward to reading your posts about other TV and film houses. How about a post on the house in the Abbott and Costello film, “The Time of Their Lives”? I believe it is the first Abbott and Costello film and in the first part of the film A & C are characters from the late 18th Century in a Georgian Colonial house in pre-revolutionary war American Colonies. I believe the house was called “Danbury Manor”, but I am sure it was probably a set. The house subsequently burns down and later on in the 1940′s — the present setting for the rest of the film — another character rebuilds the house to exacting detail. At this point, Costello’s character is the ghost of the character from the 18th Cent. and Abbott’s is a descendant of his 18th Cent character. I’m now in my mid-40′s and I remember as a young boy watching this particular Abbott and Costello film and being fascinated by the grand house, its destruction by fire, and [to my young mind] its painstaking and complete rebuilding. I haven’t seen the film in maybe 35 years, but I would love to hear what you can dig up! All the best.
How about the Stewarts’ house in the movie Chloe (2009)
any information on this house?
Love this web site! I’m glad to see other people share my same house obsession that my husband is perplexed by. I found this site while looking up victorian house exterior paint colors because of a “new” (built 1990) victorian house I saw for sale and I was fantasizing about what colors I would repaint it. It’s about 3 different colors of mauve right now and it’s not flattering.
One of my favorite movies to watch for the architecture is BBC’s mini-series of Pride and Prejudice. The cottage the Bennett’s live in, the house Bingley rents, and of course Pemberely. And I love the shots of the English countryside in the film also. That would be fun to see on your site. Keep up the good work.
Hi Julia!
I absolutely LOVE your site and visit it often! If you get a chance to watch “The Help”, you will not be disappointed. Not only is it a fabulous movie, but the homes featured in it are amazing. I look forward to seeing the new adds. Thank you for a wonderful place to visit. I tell friends and family about your site all of the time.
I would love to see the “Real Housewives” or “Kardashian” “Mob Wives” houses featured on your fantastic and addicting website.
Hi! I love your site. I often spend hours on here drooling!
I know you probably get this request often, but I’d love to see the Charmed house on here, as well as the house from 7th heaven.
Looking for pictures of the house in Unfaithful. Have you found any?
Thanks!
Sorry, if it’s not on this list, I haven’t featured it yet.
Hey!,
I absolutely love your site!!! I was just wondering if you could possibly find anything on Liv’s apartment (Kate Hudson) in Bride Wars.?
Thanks so much! .
Love your site!
Expectacular *-*
Can you find some things about the movie ”Crazy,Stuped Love” ?
The house of Steven Carrew ?
Thanks! <3
Bedtime stories,sisters house…very cute
I’m looking to find the dragonflies on Diana Meade’s room on the secret circle. anyone know where I can find them? Thanks.
Does anyone know the name of the paint color for the living room in the SJP movie “I Don’t Know How She Does It?” Thank you!
I’ve been a follower for a while, but I was just thinking about the house from “The Time Travelers Wife” and checked in to see if you had it listed! Hope you do it someday:)
Julia
Have you seen the beautiful set on the show SWITCHED AT BIRTH? -it is on Tuesday nights (and others for repeats) on the ABCFamily channel. It reminds me of the house on SOMETHINGS GOTTA GIVE. I would love to see pictures of it on your site.
Haven’t seen it yet, but it’s on my list of shows to check out. I keep hearing about the sets!
Hello There. I discovered your blog using msn. That is a very smartly written article. I’ll make sure to bookmark it and come back to learn extra of your useful information. Thank you for the post. I’ll definitely return.
Julia,
The Feb./March issue of HGTV magazine has featured a story of the family who now lives in the Father of the Bride movie house. Its a cute story. I couldn’t help but smile through the story. It makes me happy to know that its in good hands!
I LOVE the bathroom in “The Kids are Alright.” I am about to redo my bathroom and have been trying to find pictures everywhere from the movie but no luck.
I’d love to see some pictures of 221b Baker Street from the BBC show “Sherlock!”
Does anyone know where I can get the curtains in Ava’s office, on Up All Night?!? I want these so bad!
scroll up to #14
I just found this website today… and Ive been playing around all morning.
I cannot believe the house from BEETHOVEN (the movie with the St. Bernard Dog) isn’t on here.
You should see it!!
I love your site and was sitting here thinking how GREAT the house in I Don’t Know How She Does It is! If you’re looking for a new movie to cover that would be an awesome choice.
just an idea
I haven’t seen it yet, but I’ve got it in my Netflix queue!
Try the good son
or the upside of anger
Just wondering about the house on Golden Girls, but my main curiousity about it is the painting that looks like it’s got an awning that faces the double swinging kitchen door on that bizarre extra wall. Been so fixated on it lately and want to know more about it.
I would love to see Meg Ryan’s Bohemian Chicago apartment from the movie, Prelude to a Kiss.
I love your website! I just found it last night and I haven’t been able to pull myself away from it! I know you are busy but I would love to see a post about the houses in the Help.
Hello,
Love your website.
I was wondering if you could get photos of the house in “Basic Instinct”.
Cheers,
Patricia
I hate to beg but… will you PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE find something on the house in the new Tim Allen sitcom; Last Man Standing? I LOVE all the color and the basic floor plan… if only the kitchen and living room were an open floor plan.
Thanks so much & Happy Hunting!
Jess
I would love to know where to get the sofa and chairs in the living room on that show!
Yes! I have been looking all over for something – pictures, floor plans, anything – on this house! I love it! I even love the outside.
Yes, please! I watch this show a second time every week to study the house. What’s with that room off the kitchen? Is it a pantry/laundry room? And I love the yellow in the entry!
I think I already suggested the amazing apartments in Wall Street 2 (if not, then I am now), but I just watched the sneak preview of Smash and the apartment the main characters shared in Wall Street 2 is the director’s place in Smash! I was so excited to see the apartment again because I lovvvvvve it! Debra Messing’s kitchen in Smash is pretty great too.
I have asked if there is a real house or a movie set for the Parrish house in Jumanji. Yet I have not received an answer for that. Does anyone know anything about that house?
Hi! Just found you and love the blog. I have a movie house that I don’t see on your list. It’s the Irish cottage in “P.S., I Love you” with Hilary Swank and Gerard Butler. That house is the main reason I love that movie. (Gerard is pretty easy on the eyes too.) Even their New York apartment would be fun to see. Thanks for doing these, it’s so much fun!

LOVE your blog! I’m also notastalker
but always loved seeing where inspiration for houses on screen come from.
I’ve looked and looked, and never found anything about the house on 7th Heaven. Just a thought. Thanks!
Do you think you might do the necessary roughness show someday? I talking with a designer today and she mentioned that home. I can’t find any pictures. Thanks so much!
Kim
You should put the “Terms of Endearment” homes from Houston on the site. The Greenway house used in the movie was 3060 Locke Lane in River Oaks. They also used the back of 1148 Heights Blvd. I believe they used a home on Timberwilde in Hunter’s Creek when they came back to film “Evening Star”.
I just stumbled upon this and am really enjoying it. I would like to second the request from Jess, back in January, please, please, please get some info on the house/set from Tim Allen’s new sitcom, Last Man Standing.
Thanks!
Hello! I just have to say I LOVE your website. I stumbled onto after reading an article about the tv show American Horror Story. To my delight I found that you featured many houses past and present that I’ve seen growing up or have seen in Movies. I have two houses that I’ve fallen in love with but they don’t seem to be included on your site. Number 1 is Jake Ryan’s house from Sixteen Candles! I absolutely LOVE that house and read the book based on the house Wish you were here. I’d really love to see you feature that house someday. The other is the house from Sabrina the Teenage Witch. It’s GORGEOUS! I find myself checking out your site while I’m at work! I’m a true fan/addict of these beautiful homes!
Aisha
I read the book based on the “Sixteen Candles” house, too–lots of fun! Thanks, Aisha.
Hi, love your blog. I have been obsessed with a house they used on the TV show Judging Amy (Amy’s mother’s house). The show ran from 1999-2005, but I caught it in reruns on cable. The house is in Pasadena, CA, but I haven’t been able to find out more then that. I wonder if anyone out there knows more?
I get asked about that one a lot, but I never watched the show and don’t know anything about it. Sorry!
Hello!!!!
I wanted to drop in an request if you could research the movie Rise of Planet of the Apes. The house in the movie is perfect! It has stained wood panels in the entry, white painted panels in the living, and beadboard in the kitchen! I would love to see what you could find!!! Thanks so much!!!! I love your website!!!
Have you ever run across photos of East Coast water front home from Wedding Crashers?
No, I haven’t. Loved it in that movie, though!
Oh my gosh – I can’t believe I am just now discovering your wonderful site! So much fun! How about featuring the house from Designing Women? Even though the show was set in Atlanta, I believe that gorgeous old mansion is actually in Arkansas. Would love to see some turn of the century stuff- maybe Green Gables from the Anne of Green Gables series? Again, wonderful website!! Thanks!
I would love to see the house from the recent movie 50/50. It was an adorable bungalow (if it was real and not just a set). Thanks.
Love these posts!
Was hoping you might do a series on classic TV houses, since you’ve done Bewitched. You know–My Three Sons, I Dream of Jeanie (love!), I Love Lucy, et cetera.
Keep ‘em coming!
Love this blog….would love to see details of the house/office of Doc Martin, on PBS….Love the countryside, and houses!~
I talked a little about Doc Martin’s place in this post: http://hookedonhouses.net/2011/07/09/a-stone-cottage-in-north-cornwall-near-doc-martins-house/
I would love to see houses from Unfaithful and When a Man Loves a Women.
Have you ever seen the Cape Cod house in ‘The Firm’ with Tom Cruise?? The house is absolutely adorable.
Ooops my apologies, I put this in the wrong spot earlier…How about seeing if you can get photos of the inside of Deborah Messing’s condo/townhome from the show “Smash”? I just watched the pilot last night….Thanks! ( I can’t get anything else done as I can’t stay away from this website, lol)
I WOULD LOVE TO SEE THE HOUSES FROM “UNFAITHFUL” AND THE “PATRIOT”.
Please put the following movies houses on your to do list!
1. Unfaithful-Gorgeous old home on a nice piece of property with lovely pond.
2. Before and after-Another beautiful old home that looks HUGE.
3. Fatal Attraction-The cozy country home Michael Douglas’s family moves to in hopes of escaping psycho Glen Close’s wrath.
4. To Gillian on her 37th birthday-Nantucket beach cottage
Falta la casa de Bill en Kill Bill 2
Movie ..Leave her to heaven… the cabin ( Back of the moon) or the Maine Beach House, or the Santa Fe ranch…check it out three inspiring houses!!
Just saw a movie on the Hallmark channel “Lies Between Friends”. Most of it took place at a wonderful with a bed and breakfast. Where?
How about The Secret of Moonacre? that house is absolutely AMAZING.
Hello – I really enjoy your website. Question for you: I have been trying to find out who made (manufactered the front door to Gabriel and Carlo’s Solesis’ front door on Desparate Housewives? Can you help me or give me at least a lead to pursue? Many thanks!
That is a great door! I have no idea where they would have gotten it, though. You might take a photo of it to a door place and see if they can special order something similar.
Just some suggestions: The Mechanic with Jason Statham and A Stranger Calls (I think the new one 2008 maybe…babysitter in this great house alone) love your site
Desperate Housewives each have unique decorating styles and beautiful paint colors. Another one that is good is Weeds. I’m not crazy about the show but in the first couple episodes you can see the large open kitchen, dining and family room.
Also Royal Pains has a beautiful home. More of a dream home than the others, but beautiful eye candy.
This is a fun casa. I would love to buy it. . . It is in one of my favorite areas.
http://www.paradise-properties.com.mx/sales/betseyville.html
I’m watching Georgia Rule as I write this. I’m not in love with the movie (it just makes me feel sad for what has happened to Lindsey Lohan) but the Jane Fonda character’s house is a pretty craftsman — might be fun to have a post about it. Love your blog! Thanks, Molly
I don’t think I saw that one–thanks, Molly!
Have you ever thought of doing the movie “The Clearing” with Helen Mirren and Robert Redford? The house in there is terrific. I watch it just to see the house and fast forward all the stuff on the kidnapping – too depressing, but house is great.
Hey Julia! Love love love your blog – I just discovered it yesterday and have been glued to it ever since. I have always wondered about the beach house in the movie To Gillian on her 37th Birthday (starring Peter Gallagher & Michelle Pfeiffer). Do you know anything about that one? It’s exactly what I’d want should I ever have a zillion dollars and some beachfront property! All my best, Katherine
I’m afraid I don’t know anything about that one. I missed that movie!
Hi Julia,
I adore your blog. What a wonderful idea.
How about Melissa River’s malibu house from her reality show?
The decor is interesting.
Melissa and Joan “Joan knows best?” on WE tv.
Thanks,
Cathy
can anyone find me pictures of niccos apartment from lipstick jungle? thanks…
I saw a beautiful comforter on Private Practice tonight in Violet’s bedroom. Can you help me find it?!?!?!
Sorry, I haven’t watched that show in a long time and didn’t see it. Did anyone else?
Found it on West Elm but it’s green instead of gold! Still looking for the gold.
The gold is on clearance on the West Elm site. The color is maize/white. I just ordered it for myself!
Thanks, Stefani!
Love your blog! Have you seen the NBC show Grimm? One gorgeous Craftstman home after another. I tried to look up some pics but all I’ve come across is an article mentioning that the show is filmed in Portland area and Portland’s West Hills neighborhood.
Hope you’ll feature homes from this show sometime.
Thanks!
Please, please, please show the house shown in the movie Unfaithful- my favorite movie home and cannot find any photos. Love this home!
How are you? I have a question for you. I was just looking at my list of movies I sent you back in 2009, January 2010, December 2010, February 15 and August 26th, 2011, that you still have not found or posted on your website as of yet. I figure if you didn’t post any of my movies as of yet, when I submitted my list to you over 2 years ago now and there are so many other requests before me in 2009, why are you skipping those requests and posting “newer”, “more recent” t.v. shows and “newer” movies? Aren’t you going in order of date, of when people send them to you? Or, are you just doing the Movies you can get and skipping the rest? I’m just curious. I haven’t seen any new “Movie Houses” posted in a while now . Thank you.
I’m sorry you’re frustrated and haven’t seen any of your personal favorites covered yet.
Here’s my situation. I have over 1,500 comments here with people requesting movies and TV shows. My email inbox fills up every day with more requests. To say it’s impossible for me to cover them all would be an understatement considering I can do 3-4 a month at the most.
Each TV/movie post takes me days to do. For me to make that kind of commitment, it has to be about a house I personally am really interested in or have gotten some juicy scoop about one that I have to share. I also have to consider how much interest there might be in a certain movie house because I hate to do all that work if only 3 people want to read about it.
I actually have been posting TV and movie houses regularly, almost every Monday. So far this year I have featured “The Change-Up,” “Pretty Little Liars,” “Just Like Heaven,” “I Don’t Know How She Does It,” “Smash,” and “Breakfast at Tiffany’s.” I’m doing my best to get the most-requested ones posted, but it takes time!
I am looking for the animal carved hall tree like in the office of Last man standing.. where can I get one???? very special anniversary present coming up and it is perfect!!!! please anyone who knows email me! thanks!
let me know if you find the hall tree on last man standing or a similar one. I like the one by the front door.
I would love to see The Family Man house included in your list of movie houses.
I own that movie but haven’t watched it in years. I’ll have to take another look at it!
On “Last Man Standing” what color blue is the kitchen — I love it…..paining this weekend! — Please does any know the name of color and brand of paint!
Hi there,
Do you happen to know where the house is located from the horror film Insidious? It is so beautiful. Craftsman style with a large wood staircase and lots of wood trim. Too bad it was haunted lol. I’d love more info on the house if possible.
Thanks so much and keep up the great work – your blog is fantastic!
I just found some clips on youtube posted by someone who makes paper models of some of their favourite movie homes. Very cool. Here are the links for the Insidious house, Amityville Horror house and the Bates house from Psycho…all houses so beautiful I’d deal with my fear just to live in them!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rRES0-Hx6kE&feature=related
Cool! Thanks, Melanie.
I don’t think I’ve seen that one. I’m drawing a blank!
It’s me again – sorry to clog up the comments section but I found a site discussing the house. It looks so much more welcoming in real life
I’ll keep working on figuring out the location and keep you posted in case you’re interested.
Here’s the site (including real life pics and screen shots from the film). It also shows the little house they moved in to later in the movie.
http://movielocationsandmore.blogspot.com/2011/09/insidious-2010.html
Sorry for all the posts – I don’t mean to be a pest, I’m just crazy about this house!
I PROMISE this is my last post (I know I’m annoying). I just wanted to say that I found the location of the Insidious house. It is 4352 Victoria Park Blvd Los Angeles. From google street view I see that there are a lot of beautiful Craftsman style homes in that area (similar to South Pasedena California but minus the beautiful trees and intimate feel). Another interesting tidbit is that the interiors from the movie were shot in the actual house (it wasn’t a sound stage). Did anyone else notice that much of the furniture in the film is from Ikea?
Alright I’m done
Thanks, Melanie! I need to add this movie to my Netflix queue.
Can you do Gossip Girl? One of their locations is the New York Palace hotel, their is Blair and Serena’s new(?) place, Dan’s Brooklyn home, etc. I’m really just starting to watch but it’s so fun!
I featured Gossip Girl a few years ago, so the sets have changed a bit since then, but here’s the post about it:
http://hookedonhouses.net/2009/03/16/gossip-girl-living-luxe-in-nyc/
I would love to see the Lake Forest house from The Vow, interior shots, exterior shots, stills – anything really.
I’ll have to go see that one!
Hey, I just found your blog and I LOVED it! It’s simply amazing!
I know there are tons of suggestions but can you please do Salvatore brothers’ mansion and Elena’s house from The Vampire Diaries?
Thanks!
Selin.
That’s a good one!
if you havent already seen, I personally recommend Once Upon a Time. The whole town is adorable and a wide range of decor styles in the different homes. Love your site:-)
Who’s the Boss?
Monk
Family Ties (as a kid I loved that kitchen and that entryway)
Neil’s apartment in White Collar and Peter and Elizabeth’s home
Eight Is Enough
Kate and Allie
The Waltons
How I Met Your Mother
I would love, love, love to see shots of Jennifer Aniston’s apartments from the movie The Switch. Jason Bateman’s condo is very nice as well, but Aniston’s apartments (both before and after her move from NY) are right up your alley!
Cheers!
ps. I’m totally addicted to your site
Hello!
I love your site! It takes up entirely too much of my time! I had one request, if you ever get the chance. I would love to know more/see more about the set and design of the penthouse in “Ransom”. I know it’s an older movie, but the set it awesome and a lot of action takes place there.
Thanks!
JULIA,
HAVE YOU SEEN THE MOVIE MY FAMILY AND OTHER ANIMALS, IT IS OLDER (FROM 1989?) IT IS SET IN THE LATE 30′S BUT IT HAS BEAUTIFUL GREEK VILLAS IN IT. WHEN YOU GET A FEW MINUTES (HA HA) RENT IT, I THINK YOU WOULD ENJOY THEM. THANKS FOR THE HARD WORK, I SNEAK TOO FREQUENTLY PEEKS WHILE AT WORK. DON’T TELL.
julia,
to add to your bevy of requests.. the home from Far From Heaven with Julianne Moore.. 50′s fabulous, would **love** to see you post about it.. thanks for all of the wonderful posts you do, so lucky to have such a resource of goodness that you provide! xo, tiffany
I would love to see the following houses:
Frasier
Full House
Brady Bunch
Thanks!
I love the mother’s house in Drop Dead Fred.
Oh, and the Baker family house in Sixteen Candles!
With all the Industrial style going around, I’d love to see you cover, Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow with Gwyneth Paltrow and Angelina Jolie, amongst others!
i just saw the film Abduction with the lovely Taylor Lautner in and really loved his parents house, it doesn’t appear for long but when it does it looks great! open plan but not too overwhelming, lovely use of lights and colour, modern furniture but also looks comfy. check it out!
How about Constance Harraway’s Austin Tex. house from the movie The Life of David Gale. Kind of a weird movie but her house made me watch it twice!
I’m not familiar with that one. Thanks, Lori!
Just caught a rerun of “Numbers” TV series. Very nice craftsman house, inside and out! I’m guessing that the inside is a set, but it’s still very nice.
Hi Julia. I just discovered your site this morning and have spent hours touring some awesome houses, real and fabricated, from the silver screen. Twenty or so years ago, Roseann Barr made a rather hokey little movie called SheDevil … It also starred Meryl Streep playing a famous writer named Mary Fisher who stole Roseann’s husband. I’d love to know anything you can find out about the big mansion used for Mary Fisher’s home. Thanks in advance
Oh, wow, I had forgotten about that movie! Thanks for the suggestion, Linda.
Nice to know there are kindred spirits out the that take notice of amazing movie homes. I always liked the houses in the movies The Good Son, Before and After, Lying and the apartment in Mixed Nuts.
Also The Upside of Anger
The house from “Are We Done Yet?” with Ice Cube, Nia Long, and John C. McGinley. Please, please, please showcase that one. It’s BEAUTIFUL! Love your blog by the way!
Summer Magic… An old Disney movie starring a teanage Haley Mills! BEAUTIFUL YELLOW HOUSE!
Seen “This means war” yet? “Nana Foster” is the nana in the show and has a house that is amazing. Any info about that house?
I haven’t, but I keep hearing about that house! I’ll have to check it out.
There is this new show with Fran from “The Nanny” it is called Happily Divorced. Please check it out the house is gorgh!! Would love to see alot more of it. Thanks for this site I just love it.
I am looking for the actual “I Love Lucy ” house in Westport, CT. Can you help? I’d like to drive past it. Thanks!
Thanks to TBS reruns, I’ve recently become addicted to Big Bang Theory…and as a theatre set designer, I have become fascinated with Sheldon & Leonard’s apartment. Though they have the nerd/geek collections they also seem to have a classic sense of interior decorating…I’d love to see stills of their apartment, especially the window area upstage of the living room that they never seem to utilize.
Thanks!
Love your blog, btw!
On Golden Pond is my FAVORITE movie, ever. Simple, pure, funny, sad, to me this movie has it all! Including the best actress ever..Katherine Hepburn. Have not seen anything on the movie or cabin. Would love to see what info you have on it.
Thanks, & I am lovin me some “hooked on houses!”
I was hoping to find out what kind of flowers are in the lg planters on Susan Delfino’s front porch this season on Desperate Housewives. Does anyone know???
Last Gasp Of The Gatsby House
A literary house:
Don’t know if this is the type of thing you’d actually want to post, but it nearly killed me to see. When I see such houses opened up like this, it’s as tho they were in the midst of doing open heart surgery on me & I’m sitting there reading with my chest wide open. The article here, however, actually wraps it up nicely – made me agree with the conclusion. At least in this particular case.
http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/jacketcopy/2011/04/last-gasp-of-the-gatsby-house.html
Hi,
Have you seen the new house of the little couple. It’s on tv in holland now and the house they build is lovely. Are there any pictures of the house on Hooked on Houses???
If not I hope you will found some.
And…….yes I am still hooked on your site. Thanks for all the work you do for this site.
Nino
Sorry, I haven’t seen that show or the house they built. Thanks for telling us about it!
I love looking at this site when I have some down time. I would love to see two movie houses, the first one is the main house in the movie What Dreams may come. Then the second movie house I would love to see more of is the main house in the movie The Time Travelers Wife. If you could find these and post some more info about them I would love it. Thanks
I would love to see the Cohens house from ‘The O.C.”
Also, Nates grandfathers property from Gossip Girl!!!
So beautiful!!
I LOVE this site! So interesting and obsessed about houses as well. I also have some other houses that you can add!
- Mean Girls (Regina George’s House)
- Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark
- Orphan
- The Other Sister
- Kourtney Kardashian’s House
- Kris Jenner’s House
These are some beautiful homes as well!!
I discovered your house today looking up “You’ve Got Mail,” and I’m so very, very, very happy I did. I can’t tell you how many times years ago I would look up a set I loved, hoping to find pictures, only to find barely anything. Your site is seriously fantastic! And you’ve covered so many of my favorites: “Baby Boom,” “You’ve Got Mail,” “Something’s Gotta Give,” “Gilmore Girls,” “Home Alone,” and “Green Card” to name only a small few. So I can easily say, I’ll be coming back a lot. Thank you SO MUCH for putting these wonderful posts together.
Thanks, Vanessa! Comments like yours are what keep me going.
Love Hooked on Houses. Did you know Stephen St. Onge on his Designer Dad website has a great story that features the apartment and behind the scenes of The Good Wife? (And, lists Hooked on Houses a a favorite.)
Yes! Stephen St. Onge is a “blog buddy” of mine who shares my love of movie and TV houses. His post about “The Good Wife” is really great. When I finally get around to publishing mine, I’ll be linking to his, for sure. Thanks, Joan!
Hi!
I was wondering if you have ever checked out the house in Disney’s “The Happiest Millionaire” ? I just wondered if it was real or just a set.
I love reading about all the houses!
Thanks!
Carolyn
Just watched “Friends with Kids” in the theater. Fell in love with the main characters home. Lots of pillow, rugs and art from Dwell Studio. Would love to find out paint colors and sources or just see more pics from the set!
Hello Julia
Do you have any information about the house in the movie ‘One True Thing’ with Meryl Streep and Renee Zelwegger. Any information on it would be great thank you.
Totally hooked on your site by the way
C.W.
I don’t. I never saw that one. Sorry!
Have you seen No Reservations with Catherine Zeta-Jones? I loved that apartment and wonder if a chef could really afford that kind of place in NYC.
I saw Trespass this weekend with Nicholas Cage and Nicole Kidman. I really liked the modern house that the entire movie takes place in, I would love if you featured it some day so I can see more of it!
Thanks to your website, I love looking at the “homes” in reruns of classic tv shows. Except for a few notable exceptions (Home Alone, FOTB, Something’s Got to Give, The Burbs, and TV’s Desperate Housewives) I never paid much attention to all the detail in house sets. Now that’s all I look at. My fav right now is the 2nd house on Leave it to Beaver show. It’s such a classic – I could move in right now and be totally happy (well since it was BW I don’t know about colors) . Hope you have time to feature this home someday…:)
Bonanza house!
Hi Lynn, Years ago while on vacation at Lake Tahoe, I took a tour of The Ponderosa ranch where they filmed parts of Bonanza. Here is some info I found for you: On September 27, 2004, it was reported that the Ponderosa Ranch’s gates had closed for good after the land was sold. For fans of the television program, the following describes what one could see when the ranch was open to the public. The fictional Cartwright family lived on the Ponderosa Ranch at Lake Tahoe, and parts of Bonanza were filmed on its shores. Visiting the Bonanza Set at the Ponderosa : Attractions included souvenir shops and vintage car exhibits and a Wild West show, but the Holy Grail for Bonanza fans was the ranch house. Inside were all the familiar Bonanza settings: the stone fireplace, Pa’s desk, the dining table and the stairs. However, a short video played durring the tour for visitors, revealed that those stairs didn’t go anywhere (the upstairs rooms for Bonanza were on a separate sound stage in southern California). If the seen called for a cartwright to go upstairs, the actor would head on up as if going to a bedroom. But as soon as they were out of camera shot they would stand and wait in a little dead end area untill the cameras stopped rolling. Visitors could see hidden panels for lighting, and found that one side wall slid away for long shots inside the living room. After learning more about Bonanza on the Ponderosa house tour, a walk up to a photo platform gave a good view of the house and town. I’m sorry I could not find any inside pictures for you. Maybe Julia can find them, She’s SUPER at it!!! It was fun looking things up for you! I wish there were still tours of the Ponderosa so you could go. It was a great Ranch House, even if it wasn’t real. But to all us Bonanza fans, it will always be a wonderful place to see our beloved Cartwright family!! Here is a site you can read more about how the sets looked. http://ponderosascenery.homestead.com/studios.html . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .Take care, Crystal
Wow! Very helpful. Thanks, Crystal!
Any chance you could find the Kent’s farm house and the Talon from Smallville? I’ve been watching reruns and it would be great to have the floor plans for my Sims 3 game.
Have you ever done the house from Multiplicity? It is so gorgeous, I have always wondered if was real or a set!
Love your blog! Was wondering if you would be able to do the lighthouse from the movie “Your’s, Mine, and Ours” starring Dennis Quaid..i believe. I love that they have a lighthouse connected to their home itself, and would love to learn more about it.
Just asking once more, about The Good Witch’s Garden, on Hallmark. Love, love, love the greenhouse! The house they use is beautiful and most of the garden areas are very nice…just ignore a few silk plants, brought in for the storyline. But, who doesn’t like vines that ‘grab’ a nosy neighbor or two?
Hello! And WOW, what a site!!! Lots of great fun!! Thank you!!! I was wondering about the Von Trapp home in “The Sound of Music”? If it was a set, was it built according to what the real Von Trapp family home looked like? Your wonderful site is the very best of it’s kind!!!!! An absolute pleasure to spend hours on!!! THANK YOU!!!!! Crystal
The new movie This is war has great apartments, specially Lauren’s. You should see it. This site is great!! Thank you!
I was wondering if you could find pictures of the house used in The Orphan (2009).
Thanks!
All of this is great!!!!…can you put some photos from Friends apartment or “just my luck” (lindsay lohan movie)? I love the little aparment in there..thanks.Kisses form Argentina.Sorry for my english
There are a few movie homes I’ve always loved but could never find any information on wether they were real homes or just sets built for the movies. The spooky house in the movie “Frighteners” with Micheal J Fox, Danny Kaye’s house and the Boots house in “Secret Life of Walter Mitty” are both beautiful and the house in the kids movie “Spiderwick Chronicles” looks amazing! I enjoyed your web site, and hope to see more homes added in the future!
Hi Julia,
I love your blog. Your screen captures from film are brilliant. I am curious if you ever may do the beautiful Victorian House from the movie: One True Thing; starring Renee Zellweger. It is such a beautiful home, with woodwork and the lot!
Thank you for your time in maintaing an inspirational and passionate blog!
I never saw that movie, so I’ll have to watch it one of these days. Thanks, Ninian!
Hi….love the website. The penthouse on The Ringer is awesome. Please check it out when u hv the chance. I’d love to see photos.
Brandy
Love your website! I’ve always been fascinated by the house and apartment sets on shows. One of my favorites is the second house on Leave it To Beaver. Do you think you can find anything about that one?
Thanks!
I love your website and would really appreciate if you could feature the new Bones
house. It’s my favorite tv show and want to find out more about it. It looks awsome.
Thank you
LOVE THIS WEBSITE!! What about the house from the movie “Once Around” with Holly Hunter and Richard Dreyfuss? It has always been one of my favorites! The house was so classic and cozy.
I would love to see the house from the movie “When a stranger calls”. It was amazing in the film!
can you please feature the houses from the HBO TV series “True Blood”? they are beautiful.
Anyone know where can I get the teal desk in Reagan’s office in Up All Night? Obsessed!
I would love to see the pictures of Max & Lola’s house from the movie, After the Sunset… I thought it was a really beautiful Bali style home…
I would love to see Rick’s apartment from Castle. Also, the apartment in the 60′s movie Boys’ Night Out. Thanks for showing Alicia’s apartment from The Good Wife. It is gorgeous, maybe my favorite TV home, ever.
Hi Julia…do you have any plans to do a post on “The Help”? There were some great houses in that film. Thank you.
I’m working on it right now, as a matter of fact! Coming soon…
Hi, Julia-
I had wanted to make a website like this a few years ago. I LOVE this site. You did a great job, easy to read and fun to explore.
I was surfing the web looking for pool house designs and came across your site. Any California/Hampton style vibe pool houses you can think of? My husband is a builder, so he has great ideas, but I am trying to give him some kind of reference to look at.
Best, greta
Do you know who made the tuffed chairs in the living room on set of “The Man of the House” with Tim Allen? I love them, but I can’t find them anywhere.
Thanks
I love the house in Two and a Half Men!
Hello Julia,
I wanted to tell you thank you for such an incredibly appealing and addictive blog! Like many others that frequent your blog, I am hooked on houses as well! I wasn’t sure if you had seen this website: http://austenonly.com/tag/pride-and-prejudice/
There are some beautiful shots here of the cottages and estates in A&E’s rendition of Pride & Prejudice. I thought you might enjoy them, I know I did! Thank you for all your lovelies!!
Cheers, Yvonne
What a great site for us Austen fans. Thanks for the link, Yvonne!
I stumbled across your site while looking for pics of Nora Walker’s house from ‘Brothers and Sisters.’ It and Nathan and Haley Scott’s house from ‘One Tree Hill’ (in the later seasons) are my favorite TV houses. Could you *PLEASE* do a feature on the One Tree Hill house?! It reminds me of a younger, more modern version of Nora’s. Lovely site!
does anyone have information on the sets for the new show “Scandal”? I loved the conference room furniture and the sneak peak of the title character’s house.
I enjoyed your website. I thought I was the only one who watched movies and paid more attention to the sets than the acting at times. I love the house shots from The Ghost and Mrs. Muir. That house stayed in my memory for a long time. Another movie with a great house you might enjoy is Remember The Night. It starrred Barbara Stanwyck and Fred McMurray. It came out in 1940.
I just discovered your site and am most definitely hooked! Thank you! Please take a look at Mila Kunis’ characters apartment and Jenna Elfman’s Malibu home in Friends With Benefits, I think they’re worth adding
Hi! I just happened upon this site today as I was sad about Ahmed Hassan not hosting “Yard Crashers” and I loved looking back at the movie/tv homes. One more for you to check out would be the home in “This Christmas”. The director mentioned in one of the extra segments that in addition to producing a great movie, he was also trying to show what the holidays look like in California which is not the usual backdrop for most Christmas movies. The house really does take on a homeyness that makes you wish you could be there to enjoy the meals around the table (the food looks great too!).
Please please add the Martin penthouse on Ringer!! Especially the bedroom!! Moving into a new home and would love some tips on how to get the same look
