Welcome to my second annual Hooked on House Tours blog party (Fall Edition)! Yesterday I showed you how I decorate my house for fall (if you missed it, click here). Today we’re going to see what everyone else has to share. It’s basically a Big Open House around the Blogosphere–and what could be more fun than that?
This is the kind of house tour you can take with slippers on your feet and a cup of hot cider in your hand (we add a dash of brandy to ours and top it with whipped cream–yum). So go ahead, get comfy. Get yourself something to drink. And get ready to click!

Thank you for hosting this tour. I’ve included most of the first floor of our house. I’ll have to work on including more than that for your Christmas tour!
Now, I’m curious as to just what you do with your apple cider. Do you mull it and then add a bit of brandy to hot cider? Got a recipe?

I love fall! It is the best time of year. Besides the yummy food and beautiful colors, I love that it gets dark earlier and people leave their blinds open longer. No, I’m not crazy, I just like seeing how other people decorate!!

I love looking at all the beautiful fall decorations. My home is small, so I have to adapt, but there are so many beautfiul and creative things I would love to put into my home.
You hit a nerve and opened my eyes with your last post of your family room. You noted that a mirror over the fireplace is a decorator no-no. I have a mirror over my fireplace and have never been happy with it but couldn’t figure out why. Because it is reflecting my celiling!! DUH! I was even going to go out and buy a different style mirror to see if I liked it better! Yours looks really good, mine does not, its coming down! My mantle is very high which makes the mirror way to high. Thanks for the clarity…I need your wisdom!! Now….to find something to put above my fireplace…
