6 Things That Inspire December 30, 2008 at 12:17 pm

Every time I do my year end favorite posts, I inadvertently leave out one or two blogs that have been among my favorites of the year. Seeing this post makes me realize how many of your posts were among my favorites! I am going to go back and revisit them again.

I look forward to another great year of reading your posts.

By the way, how can you tell which posts had the most hits? I am reasonably savvy on the technology side, but have not unlocked some of the secrets that other bloggers seem to know.

Things That Inspire:
Doesn’t Blogger give you the stats on individual posts? WordPress has a Stats page that tells me how many times each post was clicked that day, that week, that month, or all year, but I’m not sure how Blogger works. Maybe someone who has a Blogspot blog can answer that for us! -J :-)

Fun list! Were you surprised at all with which ones were here and some not on the list?

Happy New Year.

Hi Julia! I have so enjoyed finding and reading your blog! First of all I am a Chanel girl for life! Can’t go without my Chanel! LOL! And loved the hounds tooth covered chairs in #2. We lived in Southern Utah for six years-some of the biggest houses-for big families of course! God know’s how much I love big houses.I somehow missed that post and will have to check it out! The Father of the Bride house as I remember is in Pasadena right next door to where I grew up. There are some of the most amzing houses there!Oh gosh I could go on and on about so many of your fun and wonderful post! Thanks for a great 2008-2009 will be divine! LoL! ~Smiles Tam!

What a great idea for a post!! I missed the black and white tour — I think it predated my blogaddiction :-) — but I love it. No wonder; I, too have “commitment issues.”

I’m looking forward to many more posts and clicks in 2009! And house tours. I best get crack-a-lackin’ now!

18 Linda December 31, 2008 at 12:58 am

Hmmmm. I missed a few of those. Now I know what I’ll be doing this long weekend!

Julia, Thank you for your dedication to your readers and for being such a great and fun blogger. You have been a highlight of my blogging year! To a great 2009!

Great posts! Happy new year!

20 The Deco Detective December 31, 2008 at 10:55 am

I think they’re all amazing – in different ways! The “House as big as Utah” is a stunning example of how to misspend your money when creating your home… I could invite my whole Argentine tango association to a tango ball in the bathroom! Loved Reese’s home, but I think I would settle for the Tumbleweed tiny house, it’s so quaint. Keep up the great work, and:
Happy New Year!

Thanks so much for the roundup, Julia! It’s hard to believe you’ve covered this much ground in a blog that’s less than a year old. Hope you have a great 2009! –Cindy
