Welcome to Hooked on Houses, the site for people who love looking at and talking about real estate. So you don’t have to scroll down to search for the posts you missed in January, here’s a handy table of contents.
Even faithful readers should check back on favorite posts because I sometimes add photos and updates. Don’t forget to read the comments, where I often respond to things you’ve said, and where the things people are talking about are as entertaining as the posts themselves!
Note: these links lead to a separate page for each article, so answers to the “guessing games” will be shown. If you want to be surprised, scroll down to find the article instead. They’re in order from the oldest post–HGTV’s Dream Home–to the most recent for January–the Venturo house.
(If you don’t know who designed the kitchen shown above, read this post).

Just wanted to say how glad I am that bloggy giveaways brought me to your blog. Its great to find one on a different topic than most. Its the first one of its kind that I have seen. I will be a frequent reader now! If I don’t win I will definately be searching for a copy of that book. Sounds great.
That’s so nice, Bri! It’s comments like yours that keep me working on this late into the night.
You know, I was always searching for a site like this to get my “house fix” each day and never found it, so I finally decided, “Well, I guess it’s up to me to do it, then!”
The biggest surprise for me has been to discover how many people there are out there who are as hooked as I am. Who knew? I’m having so much fun getting to know all of you! Hope to see you back here soon! -Julia
