Thanks Julia…love Eva Zeisel’s work…always have. I actually used the pictures from AD of Sharon Osbornes office for inspiration in a bedroom redo in our house. Didn’t much care for the Longaberger spread, Loved the Disney manse, and really liked the Addams house…Westfield is a lovely town. Have a great weekend.

OMG, I had NO idea Eva Ziesel, who I so love, was still alive. No idea. Her syrup container with the thumb rest is still one of the most brilliant pieces I’ve ever seen (right up there with the Russel Wright celery dish). Thanks so much for the story link!

I am a lifelong Ohio native and the first to protest that Ohio is lovely and offers a wonderful lifestyle.

That said, the Longaberger house is priced much too high for virtually ANY midwestern home. Period.

I’m not Coast-centric. I hate the term “Flyover Country.” Again I will say that middle America ROCKS!

Still, unless you are overlooking an ocean or Spielberg is your immediate neighbor, that is too much to pay for a house.

Sharon Osborne has such lovely taste. I loved her old home, too (the one in The Osbornes)….

Have a great weekend! Come by my blog and see my new dining room and art studio if you get the chance.

The Longaberger house looks more like an event center, which is what it was used for I’m sure. Only the Best basket sellers were invited there I’m sure. It’s ok, but I just couldn’t imagine “living” there. Just how much room could a couple people need? Same with Miley, wow what a house.

Many years ago, a friend and I took a house tour in the Beverly Hills area. It was amazing to see the many houses. At that time of course we could just see whatever it was we saw from the street.

What great links! I was excited to view the Longaberger mansion, but now that I have seen it, the interior is not that great. I could see this home being turned into some sort of center.

I don’t care for Miley Cyrus’s house. It looks too much like a studio styled home.

Walt Disney’s house is gorgeous! Makes me wonder if he came up with some of his ideas for his Disney cartoons, while living there.

I’m surprised to see the Osbourne’s house in the Architectural Digest, since it’s up forsale. Maybe they will decide not to sell it.

Wow – now I know why those baskets are so darned expensive!

I found it odd that the Longaberger house didn’t have any Longaberger baskets in any of the photos. I guess even the CEO can’t afford them. :)

Buy yourself a cute liveable home in a crime free neighborhood for very little and send the rest to a non ripoff charity for starving people. You’ll be setting up an eternal bank account in heaven. Praise the Lord !!!

The Longaberger mansion isn’t just the house. It has a fabulous natural setting as well for the nature lover. It’s been a treat for many lovers of Longaberger to enjoy special luncheons at Tami’s ‘house.’ The home usually has many baskets beautifully displayed. But, as everyone knows, a staged house is sparse when it comes to personal decor.

Hi! The Longaberger Mansion looks so familiar to me and it’s driving me nuts! At first I just thought it was similar to one of the mansions in the Jeremy Brett (Granada) episodes/movies, but I can’t remember… I know I’ve seen it, or something very, very close to it! Anyone else? After looking at the listing, it doesn’t give me that impression, just the one on this page (and maybe the outdoor dining/patio pic). Thank you! :) Heather
