Check out the creatively themed spaces in this Orlando, Florida, vacation rental.
One of the bedrooms is called “The Castaway” and has what they describe as a deserted island theme.
A kid’s bedroom has a treehouse bunkbed featuring grassy green carpet and trees:
And how cool is the Moonlite Drive-In theater room?
The listing says, “Don’t forget the outdoor amenities… (this is Florida after all!)… spacious lanai with private pool, hot tub, and beautiful water views. You may even spot a heron or bald eagle near the waters just behind the lanai!”
So fun. Thanks to Orlando Theme Homes for letting me share these rooms with you.

I think the astronaut would have to go and sleep on the pool table. What a fun house though! To quote Anne of Green Gables, “It has such scope for the imagination.” I’ll take the castaway room.
I’m not usually that keen on “theme” vacation properties, but this is very cool! Kids would have so much fun. Florida can be pretty rainy, so this place would keep the family entertained until the sun comes out! I love the air balloon room. So much thought and funding went into this place. Love it. 🙂
Hello, my beautiful Julia!
How are you doing? I am sorry I don’t come here as much as I used to… I am very busy with the kids and my work. Coming here is always a sweet treat! 🙂
Oh, this is FUN!!! I would like to live in a house like that, but I would love to visit it I think this place is fun fro kids and grow-ups… so well done!
Have a Blessed week!

I was just thinking about you, Luciane, and checking in on your blog. Always nice to hear from you! 🙂
I love the drive-in-movie room! So much fun 🙂
I have seen some vacation homes with theme rooms, and usually they are over done, and sometimes chaotic, which is not something I think most people are looking for when it comes to vacation. But whomever designed these rooms must of put forth great thought and planning. I think they did a superb job!
I would call dibs on the ‘Castaway’ room.
I know what you mean, Aaron. When we were looking for places to stay in Orlando, my kids had their heart set on a rental that had cartoon-character themes in each room, including the living areas, like a bright-yellow Spongebob Squarepants room. I just couldn’t do it. LOL.
This would be my nightmare vacation rental. I could relax easier on chain gang duty than in those rooms!
In “The Wolverine” they stay in a hotel very much like this house.
But I’m all in on The Drive In.
Superbly done!
