Cameron Diaz is selling the Manhattan apartment that she bought in 2008 and totally gut-renovated with help from designer Kelly Wearstler. It was featured a couple of years ago in Elle Decor, so I thought it would be fun to compare those photos to how it looks in the listing today. Take a look…
Cameron Diaz’s Living Room in Elle Decor:
The wallpaper looked more pink in the magazine than it does in the listing. Wearstler decorated the apartment with a lot of gold and black, as well as vintage light fixtures and mirrors for an “Old Hollywood Glamour” look.
The apartment has 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, and 1,400 square feet.
The listing says:
Every room, surface, fixture, and furnishing is a work of art in itself, all custom, all artisan, and all painstakingly crafted. All rooms enjoy sun-filled south exposures, while looking onto the quiet, and highly coveted tree-lined block of West 12th Street in the Gold Coast section of Greenwich Village.
Diaz recently married rocker Benji Madden and bought a $9.52 million 3-bedroom condo in Chelsea.

The Guest Bath features black marble and pink onyx:
Originally the apartment had “all-white rooms done up in a vaguely nautical theme.”

The Kitchen in Elle Decor:
The emerald-green kitchen has unlacquered brass countertops, sink, and backsplash:
The entry hall has 14 feet of closet storage finished with “onyx hand-troweled plaster wallcovering:”
