When I saw photos of Lauren Conrad’s new home in L.A., I knew I had seen it somewhere before. Turns out it was featured on Interior Therapy with Jeff Lewis last year when he and his assistant Jenni Pulos moved into the house and gave the master suite a makeover.
The episode was called “Almost Perfect.” Anyone else see that one? Based on these listing photos, it doesn’t look like the house has changed much since it was on TV.
The whole house is very white. Some of the photos looked like indoor snowstorms, so I actually darkened them a little so you could see more details.
At least the floors are dark, but I bet they’re hard to keep clean. The darker the floors, the more dust and dirt shows. Here’s another pic from that episode, when Jeff shared a meal with the family in their dining room:
According to Trulia, “The 4,300-square-foot, 2-story, New England-style home is located in the posh L.A. enclave of Brentwood, which counts Reese Witherspoon, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Kate Hudson among its other famous residents.”
I’d love to see what L.C. does with the house. It looks like a big blank slate right now.
The house was built in 1959. There are 6 bedrooms, 5 baths, and 4,300 square feet.
Jeff and Jenni take the family upstairs for the master suite reveal:
Here’s how it turned out:
As I recall, they had a lot of issues with this master bath reno on the show. Didn’t it flood or have some kind of plumbing problem when they were working on it? And I believe Jeff threw a fit because the shower faucet was an inch off-center or something.
Conrad became famous playing herself on MTV’s Laguna Beach and The Hills and is now a fashion designer. She reportedly bought this house for $3.745 million.
P.S. More Jeff Lewis:
