Hey Julia, I can’t quite find how to contact you privately, sorry…anyway, my hubby and our (then) two kids were on Househunters in Texas about 6 or 7 years ago–back in the Suzanne Whang days
. A few days ago I was telling my hairdresser all the little insider secrets and “fake” stuff from how they film the show, and I thought I’d let you know I’d love to do a little interview here about our experience if you were ever interested. Feel free to contact me at westernwarmth *at* gmail.
I’d love to hear about your experience! I’ll email you. Thanks!
Hi Julia!
Another month of fantastic houses. :>) I was wondering; have you ever had any access to pictures of Clint Eastwood’s home? He one of our favorite actors; but also apparently quite private.
I sat through 45 minutes of the new Reality show “Mrs. Eastwood and Company” to try to see the house..in vain. 90% was filmed out in LA and the shots at the “Eastwood Home” were very minimal. I had the idea that the tiny parts of the kitchen and a bedroom that they showed might be a guest house. There was one quick “half shot” of possibly the front of the main house. Just curious.
PS: Lets just say Mrs. Eastwood is no Mr. Eastwood. Pretty sad when a TV show is worse than the Kardashians! :>)
Thx
Have a nice day!
You know, I don’t think I ever have seen photos of Clint’s house. I haven’t seen the new show, either–doesn’t sound like I’m missing much, huh?
Julia, there is no way I could have missed any of your posts. I absolutely love your blog and must visit every day. Of all the houses featured in your blog, it was #6 Rustic English Country in The Appalachians that has truly captured me. I study that house every day pondering how it was built. It even inspired me to read Wind in the Willows. Thank you.
That’s nice to hear–thanks, Joan!
I needed one more peek at Deidre Halls’s porch! I think I’ll have to pin it. Thanks, Julia.
I do love her porch!
I totally missed the Smoky Mountain house posting the first time around!! Glad I caught it this time!! I grew up about an hour from the Smokies!! Glad to hear your family enjoys going there.
