What a lovely, perfect house to be so badly staged.

It deserves much better furniture and it needs warmer colors. But the first thing I would do is rip those horrid floral drapes in the dining room down!

That house has all the right things on the checklist, but it just doesn’t come together for me. Okay, I get it, so you like plain white boxy cabinets…do you have to have them in every room? And weird stuff like the vents up high on two of the walls above the bed. That’s poor planning and would DRIVE me CRAZY! Agree that bad, bland staging is not helping this house pop.

Yeah, sorry about that. I recently had to close comments on all posts older than 6 months because I was getting hit with so many spam comments on them. We’re talking 20,000 a day, which was crashing my blog as it tried to process them all. Hated to do it, though, because I know I’m missing out on a lot of real comments, too! -Julia

Do you really wants us to feel envious about these homes? Hahaha! These houses, celebrity house, movies houses, they really rocks! I am dreaming of having a house exactly like this but i am sure it’ll cost a fortune. I have to work hard to achieve a home like this.

I’m in love with this house! I grew up in Chicago with David Adler houses all around. I always thought he had amazing taste. This house has the same sort of timelessness. It’s all about well-thought-out detail and exquisite proportion. Thanks so much for posting this!

Love love love this house! Granted if I was designing myself I may have made a few adjustments but overall this home is very well done. This house is my style to a T. Classic architecture with a bit more tailored, clean lines. This house would be an absolute dream to decorate!
