I have watched a few of the Beverly Hills shows. I’m already hooked on the New York and the New Jersey wives, and that’s enough drama for me, so I’m going to try to resist getting to know these ladies. Anytime I see a house that costs millions, I’m a bit snipey(?) and superior feeling in that I usually find myself thinking that the average, smaller, cozier homes, “the rest” of us live in, always feel much more inviting, and like real people actually do their living in them, for so much less. It’s always an affirmation that you don’t have to be rich to be happy. I can always appreciate the quality of materials, art, etc. that money can buy, and when this is done on a human scale, I love it. But most of the time, the scale and design of the average middle class homes from the 20′s through the 40′s, are, to me, absolute perfection. Anything more, are just for show, not for living.

Thanks Abby! I checked out the Restoration site but it’s not the same fixture. The candles on the Grammar fixture are more randomly placed, the hanging wires are different and it looks like it has halogen down lights. Thanks for your help though!

This house is incredible! I agree, it looked much more warm and inviting on TV. It kind of reminds me of Tom Cruise’s house when Oprah visited him. It’s unfortunate that Camille has to sell it, like one of the housewives joked, now she’s only down to a few homes! I watch all the housewives show except for Atlanta and New Jersey, I just cant get into either of those shows. I’m excited to see more of Kyle’s new home too!
