I live in suburban Kansas City. It’s a crying shame that Kansas City has many decaying mansions that are in horrible, dangerous parts of town. The Paseo has a terrible reputation, and this area is too far gone for re-gentrification. It’s so sad to see these homes that have fallen far from grace.

I just wrote about some other properties for sale in Malibu…not quite as glamorous as Goldie’s. I’ve always loved her, she plays the “dumb blonde” so well, but in interviews is obviously not at all that sort of character.

Great interview Julia, so glad you have your dream job! I too, love MMD, and really am flummoxed sometimes by the $ amount spent by people furnishing their homes. Sometimes I wonder, where do people get that kind of money! Oh well, I’ll take Goldie’s beach house when I win the lottery!

I am so sad that MDD is over. (What a short season!) I wasn’t initially sure about it –but then fell. It was just g.o.o.d!

I’d love to see Shannon Factor’s finished beach house — but wonder if it ever got finished. Most people wouldn’t work with her even for real money because she was insufferable!
