Wow! How did you post, with Blogger down?
I blog with Wordpress, but I’m feeling sorry for my Blogger friends today!
Is that what was going on yesterday? I have so many problems trying to post comments on Blogger, etc… that I thought it was just me.
Great inspiration today. Thanks, Julia!
OOOooo. Those wooden countertops are beautiful.
I saw that Nook on Pinterest this week. Very cool use of space.
I agree with Kristen…those wood (butcher block?) counters are just gorgeous. Really making me re-think the silestone I wanted.
Anyone who has redone a kitchen – how did you live without the kitchen while you had it renovated?!? That’s my second-biggest hurdle I’m thinking about (after cost!).
We turned our dining room into a temp kitchen. Moved the fridge in there, set up a toaster oven, coffee maker and a microwave on the table.
I love the brick kitchen floor Julia…wish that was a good resale value choice because I would do that in a hot second in my entry way!
I love these inspirational posts, especially the little boy in his reading nook – and the boring brown kitchen turned into a beautiful white swan!
Lovely

When I clicked on your blog in reader I thought “hey they have the same platter hanging in the window that I do!”. Then I realized it was my kitchen! Thanks for posting what a great surprise! -Vanessa
I don’t understand people that have too much storage. We need every bit we can get, there is no way I could give up an entire closet for a cushion and book shelf. Seems to me if you have that much space maybe you should downsize.
I couldn’t spare a closet, either, but people have different priorities and different amounts of “stuff” to store. Unfortunately, my stuff needs all of the closets it can find in our house to hide in. Ha.
Most of the people I know with young boys (mine included) only need a bed, a dresser and a toy area. Their closets don’t really need to hold much since hanging clothes aren’t necessary. Of course, everyone’s different. We just have a very small home and only keep what we truly need and use because of it. It’s been a hard habit to get into!
Nice! Thank you, Julia. And have a gorgeous weekend
awe girl. you so sweet.
you inspire me daily. so thanks for the super fun shout out.
Hope you have a fabulous friday!
Hmmm, I now want to completely redo every room in my house.
I know what I am doing this evening! Finishing the dishes , then sitting down with a cup of tea and checking all of these out! Thank you for sharing!
Have a pretty day!
Kristin
On the top kitchen, where is the fridge handle? I don’t see how they open it.
Its between the freezer door and the refridgerator door. we have a similar one.
Thank you, Julia! I love the other links you picked! Have a great weekend~
Is that a cutting board from the window? I love it.
