I just found your blog today when I googled, “What do you get for being on House Hunters?” I’ve been reading it straight since about 3 p.m. and really need to get some real stuff done around here because we are putting our house on the market this week. BUT I had to tell you – The Not So Big House is one of my favorites, and I have it on our coffee table. Today I sent my mom a picture of my son and husband on the couch and she said, “You might want to make sure ‘The Not So Big House’ is not on top of the coffee table when you put the house on the market.” Ha.

Hi!
I guess I became hooked on houses as a child. Usually parents say: let’s have a walk to see animals/a castle/the sea… Well, not mine: every weekend it was “let’s go see the new house being built two streets from here” or “let’s go see the houses we will never afford”… That’s how it began… I began collecting screencaps of Elena’s house on The Vampire Diaries. It’s a long process… So if you need some for a post, just ask me, I’ll be glad to help!

This post almost made me cry. I love houses too, almost to the point that I fear I may never be able to buy because it may be too hard to commit to just one. I am in the process of ordering House Lust, Sarah Susanka is one of my heroes, and I would go open house cruising over shopping any day! Happy 3rd Birthday! I’ve been hooked on your blog ever since I found it. It’s been great to know other like minded souls out there-I loved looking at house plans as a child and even had a brief stint as an architecture student:) I also adore the ‘Not so Big House’-will have to go back and read that post. Well, I was so happy to find your blog! I was getting tired of my husband telling me that our neighbors were going to call the cops on me for being a peeping tom. I love the fact that I can watch a movie and come to your blog and find the house I was coveting in the movie (I’m so glad to find out I’m not the only person who rents a movie just to stalk the real estate!!!). If you don’t have the house blogged, I just send you a message and usually within a month you are blogging about it. Thank you for helping me with my house stalking problem. Maybe now I won’t have to go into treatment!!!
