Congrats on the milestone, Julia!

I love the Ohio house–I’d jump on that place in a second! Beautiful!

Janell Beals September 10, 2010 at 9:24 am

I am kind of liking the idea of a separate house for the teens…not that I have teens yet! My kids say they are going to buy one of the houses on either side of ours and then we can build a connecting hall, once they are grown! Hum…we’ll see if that is a good idea or not years from now! Janell

Can’t wait to read about the separate house for the teens!! I need to look into that for the future. ;)

Congratulations on such a huge milestone Julia! It couldn’t have happened to a lovelier person. I know I have logged some serious time on your site poring over all your fabulous posts, my favorite being of your own home and interior design, and of course the homes featured in movies and television. I know my mom was tickled when I was able to find Isabel/Nicole Kidman’s cottage in Bewitched on your site and now she has been hooked ever since! Thank you for your awesome (and inspiring) site! :)

10 million, that’s awesome! Thankyou so much for all you do for your blog. I love coming here and pursuing my passion of houses.

What a cool piece of property. If I were to purchase it, I would stay in the teenagers house while the parents house is getting renovated.

Janet September 10, 2010 at 6:48 pm

Love that house and one bath wouldn’t bother me, we raised four boys with only one and a half baths! They turned out pretty well and they are all clean ;)

Recession Proof: I agree. I adore gray.

A house for the kids? LOVE it.

I’m an odd duck because I would happily live in any one of those 9 odd homes :) And I DREAM of having a pink frilly guest house.

Wow! 10 million hits! That’s fantastic! Your blog is amazing and I know why you have so many hits. I’ll be among the 10 million more!

I wonder why Matthew McFadyen was so popular this week? We watched the remake of Death At A Funeral this week and it was NOT good. It was almost the same movie word for word, but the delivery had none of the zing and dark comedy of the original. MM did a much better job than Chris Rock.

I just love that little house in Ohio! The one bathroom is kind of a bummer, but I would get lots of exercise going up and down the stairs. :)

JULIA! I am so proud and happy for you!

I love your blog for many reasons. It really IS “a fun place to get your house fix.” But I think one of the things I like best is that you mix in your personal life with the fun, informative other posts. I love getting a glimpse into your world.

And then, of course, I appreciate how well-written your blog is. Your posts are always a joy to read.
