I missed your poll on the Green House, I love the house itself, some of the decor not so much. Perhaps it is the bright red countertops that people are not responding well to, those would be hard to live with in my opinion! But the house…love! Janell

I LOVE the Greek Revival house in Traditional home, I wouldn’t duplicate every thing..like the master bedroom, but it truly is gorgeous!
I also like the link to Velvet and Linen…beautiful site.
You never fail to provide a post of interest to me…now stop it!, I’m supposed to be taking time off from the computer!

That Victorian is GORGEOUS. Thanks for the Saturday morning eye candy Julia, it makes getting out of bed worth it.

Those msn homes are way too expensive and personally, I wouldn’t want any. They’re too big and elegant. I wouldn’t want to live in one of the houses and worry about getting them dirty or ruined.

That victorian home is beautiful.

There was no photos of the inside of the farm house? I was hoping to get a look of the interior.

It’s interesting what little things, (like cleaning out a room) can make a different when selling a home.

I didn’t mind the HGTV Green home – some furniture choices were a bit loud. Have to check out the rest of the links.

My sister and I swear we live in the wrong country! I love American architecture and houses. The Greek Revival house pictured is stunning. The one thing you do well in the U.S is the porches. More houses should have those here in Australia. I specifically added one to my house so I could watch my children and the world go by. My dream is to one day build a cape cod styled house overlooking the beach here. I can dream….
Your blog is wonderful!

Thank you so much Julia for linking to my Kitchen Garden Post!
Leila and I spent the morning planting more carrots and snap peas. It was such a wonderful way to share time with my daughter.
I’m now going to take some time for myself and check out your other links.
Thank you again!

Great links as always!
LOVE the restored victorian (beautiful).
LOVE S.Johanssen’s home for sale (that glass ceiling is incredible).
LOVE the house from “When a Stranger Calls” (even though it doesn’t really exist).
And even though they’re so different, I can see myself living in any of them very easily. :-)

Hi! I’ve been a subscriber for a few months and I’m always telling my husband what I read about here during our daily work commute. We toured the 2010 HGTV green home in person last Saturday. It is gorgeous and we want to win it! We’ve been writing a series of posts about each space that include details (paint colors, where to buy, etc) and a slew of photos that I took myself. So far we’ve shared details about the exterior, kitchen, living room, dining room, master bedroom suite, and kids bedroom. We’ll be covering the remaining rooms and art work this week. Of course, you are more than welcome to stop by.

BTW, I LOVE Gilmore Girls and the posts you did about their sets!
