I’m really loving Parenthood and all the different houses. Every house seems to perfectly capture its owner’s personality, I love that! That is what my goal is in decorating our home, I want people to walk in and not only think the house is beautiful but also that it is “me”. The parents house in Parenthood reminds me a little bit of the family home in Family Stone for some reason, same sort of eclectic homey vibe. And I LOVE Julia’s swanky house, it has that modern but not cold feeling that I adore!

Fun links – thank you ! I’m loving that Victorian and oh the Chipmunk cottage was just adorable ! Why is it that it seems that all the cute houses are anywhere but Jersey ?

Thank you, Julia, for giving Galveston Island a shout-out by letting people know about its annual historic home tour this weekend. In case any one misses it, pencil it for next year — same time (first two weekends in May). Fabulous architecture. Interesting history!

Hi Julia! Great links. I live in Galveston and we’ve just finished the second weekend of the Historical Homes Tour. This is my absolute most favorite thing to do each spring. We’ve lived here for 14 years and have only missed one of them. Thanks for sharing the Historical Society’s site.
Happy Mother’s Day!
