An “Apprentice” Kitchen

Greentea-Apprentice kitchen 2

Recognize this kitchen? It was featured on the reality-TV show “The Apprentice.” The designers used back-to-back Mizuya cabinets to create a unique kitchen island. To keep the stainless steel from making the room look too cold, they chose a “Ginko” stain to warm things up.

I love-love-love stainless counters. Everyone says they scratch easily but I still love the look. I also love honed black granite. And soapstone. And poured concrete.

And this is why my kitchen counters are still 1979 almond linoleum – I can’t make up my mind!

I’ve never seen the show – but I do really like this kitchen! Though I wouldn’t want the countertops in my house, I think they’re cool and kinda fancy!

I really do like that island. I loved the first two seasons of The Apprentice…after that, I got a little bored. :s They sure did give the contestants a nice place to stay though!

I hope you can stop by my Decorating Dilemmas Party. It’s going up tonight after 10 (ET), and will be up all day tomorrow. If you don’t have any Dilemmas (how could you??!) or a solution to link up, I’d just love to get your feedback on MY dilemma b/c I adore your family room (?)- the one with the fireplace. :)
