Just wanted to let you know that there’s a lot of work going on behind the scenes to (finally!) make my blog look pretty. It’s been naked for far too long without any header or color or design. I know you’ve all got to be as tired of the generic soup-can label look as I am!
Things might be wonky for a day or two–please bear with me. It’ll be worth the wait, I promise.

From reading the above, I’d summarize that we’re all extremely fond of your blog and will keep coming back no matter how you look.
It’s a bit like seeing your spouse at 6AM – they might look a bit unfinished round the edges, but we don’t love them any less!
Personally, I think some of the best blogs have a pretty minimal look. I’m not a fan of lots of floral backgrounds. And your ‘clean’ appearance makes it a lot easier to read at work…

You guys are all so sweet to love me and my blog even when we’re plain Janes.
Heck, if I’d known how everyone felt, I wouldn’t have bothered going through all this hassle and expense to change it! Ha.
It’ll still be pretty simple. Nothing floral. But at least I’ll have a proper logo and some color to keep things cheery. If all goes according to plan, this will be a much sunnier space by tomorrow. Cross your fingers for me! ~Julia
