I feel something that’s rather disconcerting and alarming about the former Marlo Thomas house. Particularly around the finicular thingy and the tennis court.

Something has happened there. There’s some bad juju.

That letter to Pottery Barn was so funny – great point, especially about the pancake picture.
I know with so many people losing their (only) homes, I shouldn’t feel especially sorry for Nicholas Cage. But, I do nonetheless. He clearly loves houses, collecting them (as you say) like baseball cards, and it must hurt to lose them.

I too love That Girl.

I want to share this listing with you but it’s not on my blog so I’m not Mr. Linking. Anyway, the thing about this house in my neighborhood (which is VERY hilly) is that it’s on a “stairway street” which means it can only be accessed from street level via a stairway – in the case of this house, 87 steps.

When we were house shopping, we considered one of these stairway houses but it was too many steps, too little house for us.
