I agree that this would appeal to people who have to schlep their stuff to a laundromat. This is a step up for them.

Yes indeed it is a hideous photo for promotional purposes, but don’t be too hard on these people. It’s clearly a very small scale house (apartment?), and what we’re looking at is a “dining nook” off the kitchen that has room for a small eating table and a stacked washer-dryer. Any house hunter who is currently schlepping to a laundromat will be heartened, not horrified, to see this.

That is a bad, bad photo. There was a house on MLS near me that was so horrible I was literally speechless. I've never seen anything like it. I think it had been "staged" but by who, I don't know...a crazy person maybe? It was obviously uninhabited, with tiny, out of scale pieces positioned strangely and fake plants GALORE! In the LR/DR alone there must have been 20, it was like a jungle! The house is no longer on MLS, though I can't imagine it sold looking like that. Maybe they're re-doing it. It was ridiculous.
