You did a great job and what a job it was too! We have a two story foyer as well and I am not crazy about the fixture we inherited when we bought this house a year ago! I've had a fabulous time surfing your website. Kept me up long past my insomnia last night. Really Cool! I got such a chuckle out of an old post about columns in a house on the market. With a comment video link to a SNL clip. LOL Anyway I stopped back today and decided to join the DIY links. I dabble in DIY's once in a while. Love your all your new trim -- color me jealous. We live in FL and also have no woodwork around windows. I also saw your office redo when I was browsing. Love your wood floors. I miss traditional homes.
