I wanted to know if the darker island in the kitchen was black or a very dark brown. It looked black to me, but the designer mentioned she used a simple palette of green, brown, and white.

I quite like almost every room of the house. I especially love the view when you enter the home and the family room. Also, I have to mention that I freakin’ LOVE the staircase!

at first i was cool with the house then i realized how huge it was. and the stairs. they dont need carpet. they can be a free stair stepper device. just too much house for me.

Maybe I’m nuts, but when I see houses this big I think, who on earth wants to clean that much house?? Oh well, if I could afford 8000 sq feet, maybe I could afford to have “staff”!!

No problem, I just read through your blogs and realised someone else had already asked you, sorry, I was just sooo excited when I asked you, I didn’t notice the other blogs, and I since read through where you said Michele Boggs used green, white and brown, so that helps. I am hoping my benjain moore paint specialist can help me match some nice colors up.
