I feel a little “bah humbug” about Halloween this year as I did not decorate at all, which is very unlike me, but I will not be home on Halloween and I did not want trick or treaters to be disappointed. There is an unwritten rule around here that if a person has no decorations up they will also not be giving out candy.

The links you profiled in this post were great fun to look at non-the-less, and hopefully I’ll be able to get in the spirit again next year.

Young children at home sure make the holiday more fun! Your Lily sounds delightful — kids are lucky these days to be able to explore blogs along with Mom and find ideas

I think these all look great!! My question is: Where do people find the time to decorate for a “holiday” such as Halloween?! It’s all I can do to keep the dishes clean, laundry done, and hang one fake fall wreath on the door that covers all of Autumn…

I was told by my children that our house wasn’t nearly “creepy” enough. So we put up the faux cobwebs over the pre-existing real cobwebs & dead mums! Festive *snort* !

Oh I love to look… how fun, dosen’t it take you back to when you were a kid, Halloween was so magical, I still love it and can’t wait to hand out the candy to the kids.

Lily what are you going to be this year, our dog Sydney is going to be a Bumble Bee, my daughter (she’s big now), is going to a party Friday night as RobinHood.

Julia Pat/Back porch got those blocks from Karen at the yellowfarmhouse she is a very talented lady, I love her blog.
