Look what the talented and creative Fifi of Fifi Flowers whipped up for us, just in time for Tuesday’s Hooked on House Tours Blog Party!
That’s right, we have an Official Blog Party Button, folks. I’m so excited. I showed her a picture of the house I’m going to give you a tour of next week, and she created this original painting of it. Didn’t she do a great job? Thanks, Fifi!
If you’re one of the bloggers who plans to post a house tour on August 5 for our Fantasy Open House Around the Blogosphere, then take this button and put it on your House Tour post or in your sidebar. This will be the equivalent of tying balloons on your mailbox to let people know where the party is!
Or–even if you can’t participate in the blog party–you can still put the button on your blog just to show you’re hooked on houses and don’t care who knows it.
You know how to take the button, right? All you do is right-click on it and save it to your own computer. Then upload it onto your blog. Just be sure to put a link on the button back here to my blog address: http://hookedonhouses.wordpress.com.
Special thanks goes to my friend Maya at Springtree Road who told me I needed to get a button for the party and then sent me lots of links and ideas for how to do it.
I’m new to this “blog button” thing, so if I’m doing it wrong, let me know. Seems like other bloggers give people “code” to copy and paste on their blogs. Anyone feel like telling me how to do that? Or why that’s even necessary? I’m so clueless. It’s pitiful, really.
