I realize that this has nothing to do with real estate, houses, or decorating, but I just have to mention that one of my favorite TV addictions, Project Runway, starts a new season tomorrow night on Bravo (Wednesday, July 16). This is a photo of the new cast. Have you missed Heidi Klum, Tim Gunn and the Gang as much as I have?
Design Star could learn a thing or two about staging reality competitions from Project Runway. Let’s hope the DS producers will be watching and taking notes for next season. Lesson number one: it’s all about the casting.

I miss Heidi and the gang so much!! I love PR. It is my favorite show. I cannot wait to see this season. I will have to check the blogs out.
I’m so sad. We don’t get these channels any more, so I don’t get to watch PR anymore. It’s was a good one for sure:)
I don’t watch this show but from the looks of it the casting was *way* better than DS. Seriously, that’s the best they could do? Have fun watching, my 18 year old is *super* excited for it to start.

Yay, me! Can you believe I didn’t even know a new season was starting until I caught a commercial last night?? I would have been pretty ticked if I missed it.
Please tell me you’re going to do a recap! Please, please, please! Who cares if it’s not house related. It’s DESIGN related. If you can put together an outfit, you can put together a house.
I was practically squealing last night during Flipping Out (great episodes BTW) when they showed Tim Gunn. Oh how I’ve missed him and his non-hot messness.
I’m flattered you all want me to recap PR, too! It’s oh, so tempting. Love that show. I won’t be able to do this week’s (and I’ll miss DS this weekend, too, I’m afraid) because I’m heading out on some much-needed vacay. But maybe I’ll pick it up when I get back.
Speaking of Flipping Out last night, was that the SADDEST episode ever? It’s usually such a light and fun show, but my heart was breaking for Jenni. -Julia

Jeff so has trust issues. Jenni accidentally giving that blank check to the worker….JEFF signed a blank check…what a bonehead. All he needed to do was place a stop on it. Jenni apologizes…he should apologize.
I am SO EXCITED for PR to start again tonight! I absolutely love this show. I’ve been looking through the designer’s backgrounds and trying to decide who will be the first to go, who will be the diva, etc. I love the creativity, fashion, and DRAMA of the whole thing.
LOOOOOOOOOOVE PROJECT RUNWAY! I was so excited to watch last week! And my BF was here so we watched together. Can’t wait for the next episode.
Oh. And YES. Flipping Out was SO DEPRESSING. I feel so bad for Jenni. Man. That Chris of hers was a jerk. I think Jeff is funnier this season than he was last season. Last year I thought he was a total ass, but for some reason this time around I get the feeling he’s joking a bit more than he has? Maybe I’m nuts? Don’t answer that.
