LOOOOOOVE your recaps! I actually watch this show in “real time” vs. DVRing it and watching it later. I love it! Even though I read your recap like… 5 days late… I’d miss it if it were gone. I see a lot of people agree. :o) Whew.

I think that black room that Matt and Awesome Mike did was my favorite. I feel the need to paint my sons room black now. hee hee

I missed this episode, so I really enjoyed this post, especially with your hilarious commentary LOL My favorite room was the black one and my second favorite was the last one. I liked the before on the first room better than what they did to it for sure.

Thank you, Julia! I must say, along with everyone else, I loved the D. alternatives.

I agree with everyone that the only reason to have kept Tracee this time was for the drama factor. Perhaps she actually has some redeeming qualities that have been edited out.
As for the flea market finds, I have to give some free passes. If Clivey sounded his bull-horn in my ear at some godforsaken hour, I’d be hard-pressed to find anything in that mess, too. Although, I did like “Grace Jones” pre-painting.

Thanks for the recap. I had my TiVo set to record this episode (well, I have Design Star on season pass, actually) but our power went out & I missed it. I was SO bummed. So thanks again!

I just read what Rhondi said and I thought the same thing about them keeping her….she is so annoying don’t you think !!! I can’t believe I liked the black room I thought for sure i was going to dislike it. I wonder how long it’s been since someone has lived there ?

This totally reminds me of when I lived in London and my mom would type out episode recaps of Melrose Place for me. No one can ever say she is a bad mom after doing that!!

LOVE the recaps. We are tv-less now and I was sad about missing out on Design Star but now I feel like I am still in the loop!

My fav room is Mikey V and Stephanie..it looks like something you’d see in a real house. I also surprised myself in liking the black room - would be great for a hotel or modern apartment. Somewhere I would like to visit but not permanently live in.

I think Tracee should have gone home. I think they must have left her on for the drama. I liked the black room a lot more than I expected to.
