I think it’s cute, but my dogs would never be in there. lol They are always running around the house or sitting in my lap.

Love the dog room. Trying to design my own and am totally inspired by yours. Can you tell me where you bought the dog beds with the paw cut out. I actually have dog dish stands that match that but have never seent the bed. Any info would help. Thanks.

We bought an 1889 house that needs a ton of work. We’ve got a good start but lots more to do. We have six house cats (all adopted). We are using the living room for a cat room for now. They love to look out the windows. Their toys, cat trees, food, water, litter boxes, and beds are in that room. We visit them and take them to other rooms to be with us, but the cat room is their main living space. I hope to add a sunroom onto the back of the house later for the cats, so I can reclaim my living room.

I like knowing where the cats are. I love them very much, but I don’t like cat hair all over the whole house nor do I like cats in food prep areas. I like to have some furniture that won’t be clawed as well as some other items that I don’t have to worry about. I don’t care if the cats “mess up” some things, just not the whole entire house.

If that’s “over the top,” as my daddy used to say, “so be it.” I’m recycling the house and saving the cats. Nuff said.

Honestly? Being a bit of a minimalist and a raging humanist, I find the whole idea ostentatious and embarassing. I mean, really…..there are PEOPLE out there that don’t even have clean water to drink for Gods sake.

Are we all really THAT crazy??? I love our pooch & all…….but her own designer room? Ha!! I guess once everything else had been done in the house that I wanted…hmmmmmm
