It’s so funky, I love it! She may get tired of the carpet and wall treatment later, but in a few years they can make a few changes (tone down) to the walls and curtains. Put a fuzzy white rug on the floor to tone the rug down and you have a sophisticated teenage girls room with a bed she can have/love forever (I know I do) .

Eep! Those oversized roses on a bile green ground juxtaposed against a leopard (or cheetah or whatever) print carpet! The bed is impressive, but not suitable for a young girl. The only thing I like are the windows, but not the straight drapery rod and curtain treatment, a style that always detracts from the graceful form of arched windows in my opinion.

If my parents had decorated my room like this I would have run away from home! It’s uglier than sin…

I dislike it. Maybe it is the colours…. If the wall paper patern was toned down maybe I would like it. The bid does not fit the image of the room.

The proportions of the queen bed and smaller secretary hutch go perfectly with the scale of the room. The heavly carved darker bed grounds the room and relaxes the eye. A standard white twin bed would not have worked quite as well in this room. The designer took risks with color and pattern and it worked well! I love that!

I hate the leopard print carpet!! Seems more boudoir than little girl’s bedroom…kinda creepy really…when are kids going to be allowed to remain kids? That carpet is the equivalent of a belly shirt on a six-year old!! Can you tell I hate it…???!!!!!

I love this feature. Your blog, for lack of a better word, rocks!!
