Since I am reading this on May 3rd, I was seriously worried about my new favorite blog. But when I got to the pink familiy room, it all became CLEAR!! Very funny. My April Fools joke this year was from an airline pilot! I ALWAYS end up flying on April 1st.

What a hoot! I am fairly new here, so I was seriously doubting your trends sources (and judgement!!)…The first photo had me incredulous, thinking who in their right mind (or of this era) would put that quilt on their bed? Thanks for the laugh!!

Since I’m reading this on Wednesday, I forgot all about April Fool’s, and you had me going from the get-go. One horror after another. All I could think was “maybe I can sell that God-awful lamp of my late Mother-in-law’s that’s been in the attic for 15 years.” Great post as always, Julia. Look forward to you every day. How lame am I? I get my only April Fools joke the day after the fact! I was a little frightened by the quilt, but the moment I saw the birds feet I was laughing. VERY funny!

Hey, JLB. I like quilts, too. My husband’s grandmother made a lot of them for her grandchildren that are family heirlooms. I just didn’t care for all the colors and patterns in this pic much. However, I had to choose something that wasn’t TOO “out there” for the top of the post. Didn’t want to give it away until you all clicked onto the second page and saw those hideous bird feet. I thought if they didn’t give it away, the cow couch certainly would. Ha.

I love that you all take me so seriously! I had no idea. I’m feeling very powerful now. I hope no one ran out and bought a sad clown painting before reading the end of the post…

You all shouldn’t feel stupid if you were fooled. Even my own mother says she believed it, and she knows me better than anyone! -Julia

I didn’t like the pic of the quilts and I have never liked quilts in general, but I have recently began to like them more. My partner’s mother has gotten into quilting and she made us a really elegant one for christmas (yes an elegant quilt) I think they can be great especially if they have a personal meaning.

OMG!!! I totally fell for it. I was like I think she got hit in the head at her kid’s t-ball game or something this stuff is vile!! Then it dawned on me it’s April!. Thanks for the laugh.
