Those rooms are really over the top—even for someone like me who likes teal and pink. But I don’t like that much of it or that bright/deep!

You never know about potential buyers though. My grandmother sold her house in a slow real estate area two months after she put it on the market. She didn’t make any concessions. One bathroom was pink ceramic tile (floor, shower walls, half way up other walls, counter), pink tub, pink toilet, pink lavatory. Other bathroom was the same with lavender tile and white fixtures. The man who bought the house loved the bathrooms, especially the colors, and picked the pink bathroom for himself and his wife to use.

So you just never know!!!

OMG!!! This is style is what I call “Granny Chic” . Bad colors and a lot of them and everything color cordinated to the “custom” wink..wink carpets. I think that this house need about $30-$40k in updating. I am going to take a little nap the colors are giving me a headache.

I’m pretty sure Alexis and Krystal Carrington crashed into those vertical blinds with their shoulder pads and the blinds have been sent out for repair.

TraceyB, you’re cracking ME up. Now I can’t get the image of the homeowner’s shoulder pads and Guess jeans out of my head. Too funny.

I forgot to mention that this house is right here in Southern Ohio, near where I live. So, you know, it’s not like it’s in a part of the country where you have to fork over a million bucks for a starter home. In these parts, $1.6 million is a lot of money!

As a Realtor I gotta tell you, people will. not. listen. They think their decor is so perfect that it alone will sell the house. My only question….where are the teal vertical blinds??? You *know* they are there somewhere!!!
