I can appreciate the skill and vision but I just don't like the sterile environment in them. With those taxes the can keep the heap of brick. And sadly yes , not 1 winner of the hgtv dream house has kept it. Last year or before the gave the winner money to pay something, but I think they still sold it. I am not a FLW fan. Another reader mentioned to me that not one of the HGTV Dream Home winners has ever been able to keep the dream homes they won because they couldn't afford the taxes.
